Wednesday, 30 March 2011. National Photographic Portrait Prize 2011. After the Modernism lecture the other day I went over to the National Portrait Gallery to have a look at the photos hung for the National Photographic Portrait Prize. I wrote down the names of the photographs that stood out for me and oddly enough they were no the winner. The winning portrait I did not feel as strongly about as the photographs below. Gone to Heaven - Sommer Atkinson. James - Dean McCartney. Les and Eileen - Alex Vaughan.

Wednesday, 30 March 2011. National Photographic Portrait Prize 2011. Neg Study 2 - Lifecycle ACT. Wednesday, 26 September 2012. Lifecycle Day 3 - Event Finish. Families turned up, teams came along, sun is shining. It has been an amazing day. Our goal for this event was $100,000 and so far the tally is $110,000 with over 23,000ks being riden over the past 48 hours. 13th September 2012 and its opening day. The sun is coming and going and the wind is very strong. Everyone is busy setting up tents and stages and getting ready for the event opening tonight at 5.30pm.

Major Folio - ActewAGL. Monday, 12 March 2012. 08/03/2012 - Workshop 4 - Lens Testing. Above is the chart of all images I took with my 28-135mm lens. The sweet spot is at 135mm at f11, I found the other focal lengths had alot of lens distortion and some signs of aberrations. The worst sharpness spot on my lens at 135mm was 22. These f stops where the most common sweet spot in the different focal lengths. At 28mm my lens distortion is VERY obvious! 08/03/2012 - Workshop 6 - Close Ups. Stamp - Life Size.

Major Folio - ActewAGL. Tuesday, 29 May 2012. I found that the callibration with the EYE ONE on paper was a little bit harder then I expected. It took the most time and was the hardest to get a hang of. Everything else was easy to do after a bit of learning and guidence from the sheet of paper. Wednesday, 9 May 2012. 2012-05-10 Callibration - Part 2. Today I finished my callibration part 2 assignement. This reasonably easy, the only thing that i found hard was to scan the test targets!
