Monday, April 9, 2012. Taylor's Kindergarten class at Hidden Lake took a field trip to The Marianna Caverns and he let me tag along! I was very happy to spend the day with him and look forward to many more field trips. Preferably one with fewer mosquitos but I will take what I can get! I'm just happy he still wants his mommy around! Mrs Lamb teaching the kids about bats before entering the caves! She is a great teacher and Taylor is lucky to have her this year! Tuesday, May 29, 2012. I remember when I used to think 30 was old! Now it's not quite as bad as it used to be! There is something about not being able to say "I'm twenty something" when someone asks me how old I am. But I'm learning to not worry about the number and count my many blessings. I celebrated the big day with my parents eating dinner and an ice cream cake for dessert! It was a great way to ring in my thirties! The weather was beautiful and we had a great time! This was the view from our condo!

Monday, November 28, 2011. This year we hosted Thanksgiving in our home! My mom and I did most of the cooking with the exception of the dressing and I must say we did pretty good! We enjoyed time with family that was much needed and I am so grateful for all of the blessings I have. The only thing that was missing was my sister Abby but she will be here for Christmas and I can't wait to celebrate with her then! My first attempt at a turkey!
