Saturday, October 12, 2013. Day at the Park. Helen Claire LOVES to go to Homewood Park, and we go anytime the weather is pretty and we have some free time on the weekend. This time, I took my camera along to get some shots of her swinging. It's by far her favorite thing to do at the park, at the playground at school, at Mimi's house. she will beg for "two more minutes, two more minutes." Today was no different, and I'm so grateful I caught some of her absolute joy on those swingsets. Day at the Park.

Wednesday, October 9, 2013. As usual lately, these pictures are late. Helen Claire turned three, and our world just kept spinning, even though it felt like time should slow down. Looking at her with these newborn clothes is unreal, truly. Helen Claire continues to be our girly-girl, little lady, always prissy- into all things pink and pretty. Friday, October 11, 2013. This fall, especially since Move In back in August, has been crazy. There hasn't been a lot of one-on-one time for sweet little Helen Claire, and I've felt really really, beyond guilty over it. She is a child who thrives on individual attention (what child doesn't), and we can really tell a difference in her spirit when she doesn't get enough quality time. Monday, November 11, 2013. Helen Claire and I spent our Veteran's day with a picnic at the park, lots of swinging, and Story Hour at the Hoover Public Library! There we are in the back, on the right hand side. We had such a great time, and we are so thankful for people like Papa, Paw-Paw, and Uncle B who fought for our freedom so we could spend days like this together. Happy Veteran's Day everyone!
