Sisters in Seattle: January 2015
http://sistersinseattle.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. Let the Lights Shine. I don’t think I ever get tired of Christmas lights. Before the internet, I used to scour the newspapers for articles that talked about the best displays in town and I would map out my plans to go see them all. Nowadays you see someone post something on Facebook and there you go! That’s what happened to my favorite house we found this year- the Seahawks house. Another nearby house we visited on the way home from that was Binary Christmas. And since I didn&...

Sisters in Seattle: December 2014
http://sistersinseattle.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Here Comes Santy Claus. And here we go with my month of posts about Christmas while I use January to catch up, hopefully! Let’s start with the big guy. It’s always fun for me to get the Santa pictures. Not because I’m Santa obsessed or anything. I’m actually surprised that they do still believe in Santa but I think we proved that true with Cassie’s On Star story. Anyhow, I’ve mentioned before that I love the Santa pictures. They posted this ideas album. I ended with four poses:.

http://allthingskatherine.blogspot.com/2009/04/katherines-birthday-at-preschool.html
Saturday, April 11, 2009. Katherine's birthday at preschool. And, then Katherine became very serious - I guess birthdays are serious business. Although, K's friend Audrey seemed to be very happy about the occasion. And, here's the crew enjoying birthday cupcakes. And my favorite picture of the morning. Sheena, Pete, Katherine and Lauren. All Things Katherine: November 2008
http://allthingskatherine.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 28, 2008. On Thursday my cousin Margaret and her two girls, Sophie and Isabel came from Arizona for the festivities - Katherine loved being with them. She showed them all of her toys and they were kind enough to play with her. When they left she kept asking, "where are my cousins? It was a great few days, and this morning we slept in, ate leftovers for breakfast, and danced in our pajamas! How often do you have a day like that? Sheena, Pete, Katherine and Lauren. All Things Katherine: December 2008
http://allthingskatherine.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 1, 2008. Every day I am surprised by something Katherine says. One of the funny things Katherine has recently begun to ask is,"Are you happy? She asks this after we have scolded her for something, or if we say something strongly to her. The conversation goes something like this."Katherine, sit down at table." "Are you happy? No, I'm not happy. Please sit down." "Sorry mommy." It gets me everytime - I know I shouldn't laugh, but I just can't help it! Sheena, Pete, Katherine and Lauren.

http://allthingskatherine.blogspot.com/2009/02/30-days-go-so-quickly-part-2.html
Monday, February 16, 2009. 30 days go so quickly, Part 2. And in the last 30 days.or so, we had a presidential election - YAY! And Katherine and I watched all the festivities for hours that day. And there were dinners with Amy and Nikki - which always involves lots of playing.Nikki's such a good sport. And there were two birthday parties.the first was at a place where they have a room full of bounce houses - Katherine had absolutely no fear about these things -much to my dismay. Keeling Chronicles 2010: October 2009
http://firstgrandkids.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 29, 2009. Shoveling the white stuff. It actually started to melt a bit so we each grabbed a shovel and cleared the walkway. Good exercise. I stupidly ventured outside to take a couple of pics and almost got blown down to Denver. The wind is really roaring out there - must be 30mph or more. News - the snow has stopped falling. News - it's supposed to snow off and on through tonight. News - it's supposed to be in the 50's by Saturday so it will melt quickly. It's been snowing since Tuesda...
