December 29, 2014. I remember being told that I could have anything I wanted — I just had to want it. Enough. Those words motivated me into action and I landed one of ten spots in the then-impacted nursing program. Positively Mom: October 2014
http://positivelymom.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Today, I live in the quiet, joyous expectation of good. - Ernest Holmes. Thursday, October 30, 2014. It's funny. Sometimes I don't blog because I don't have anything new to say. In other instances, I don't blog because I struggle with the quality of my writing. In some cases, I am an absentee blogger because I am mired in the posts of social media. This is not a time like those. My One Little Word. Procedure. I am so excited for the final product. I talked with two women I knew in the business field, who...

Sunday, May 09, 2010. Ragnar Relay - LA 2010. It has been just over two weeks since I ran this incredibly fun event and I thought I'd better get it down on blog "paper" before the specific become any fuzzier. The journey to this race started a long time ago. I'd read blog accounts of others that have done similar races, like Hood to Coast, and they always sounded like a lot of good fun. I received a flyer. I immediately emailed her an offered myself to the team if they had any openings. Her initial.

Saturday, June 18, 2011. The Last Long Run, Once Again. I've been here at least 20 times before. This weekend was the last long run, a 20 miler this time around, before heading for the Missoula Marathon. This week it was back to the hill repeats. This time the plan was 6. My quads were a bit tired from the trail race but I made it through the 6 repeats. My times were a bit slower this week from 1:38 to 1:41. Still pretty consistent I think. Taper time, once again!
