Maria Fofia: January 2010
http://mariafofia.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 17, 2010. Tonight Hugo had his first taste of something other than milk or formula. He downed a whole bowl of thin rice cereal, slurp after slurp. We couldn't get it into his mouth fast enough. He had a little trouble with the timing at first - when to open up, when to swallow - but got the hang of it pretty quickly. Keep your eyes on the prize. Here comes the airplane. Thursday, January 7, 2010. The first night he cried I had to soothe myself. The tooth sitting at an unnatural angle.

Maria Fofia: Just look, don't touch
http://mariafofia.blogspot.com/2010/12/just-look-dont-touch.html
Thursday, December 30, 2010. Just look, don't touch. Some people blog when they're avoiding homework; I blog when I'm avoiding cleaning up the kitchen. And "don't touch that" and "I'm freaking out! That was hilarious. Cant wait for my first one. January 1, 2011 at 10:21 PM. He is very cute. For our kids, self-consciousness kicks in around 1st grade, then the dancing stops. And, the older ones dont want you to be around in public. Liz has some good poop stories, but I wont use any kids names (...Picture W...

Maria Fofia: February 2011
http://mariafofia.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 20, 2011. Not only is the moon exciting, but any round thing in the air, like balloons. The word balloon sounds kind of like moon, so they're also 'moo'. Books that have pictures of the moon (full or crescent) or balloons are suddenly very exciting again. Moo! But the last few mornings the moon has been visible around 7am when he's having his morning bottle, so super exciting once again. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life With Ben And Meg. Maria Fofia: October 2010
http://mariafofia.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Hugo loves music. Whenever he hears it, even if it's a silly, annoying little electronic beeping song, he starts stomping his feet, sticking his little behind out, spinning in circles, clapping hands and "snapping" fingers, and oddly cocking his head to the side and holding up an arm. Guess it just feels good. I get to spend more time with my sweetie pie. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Damn bandaids - mama, please don't be offended. I said damn bandaid! This does not bode well.

Maria Fofia: Piling it on
http://mariafofia.blogspot.com/2011/06/piling-it-on.html
Friday, June 17, 2011. In addition to buying a house and dealing with Joe's cancer, we've got a guy working in our basement bathroom right now, investigating a wet patch on the wall. He'll have to open up the plaster wall to get to the 1940's plumbing, find out where the leak is and replace the old toilet and the sink pipes at the same time, and possibly remove the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. I got some heavy duty vinyl (half price at the Memorial Day sale! A few more pictures from Mexico.

Rootbeer Floats: Opinions-Christmas Fun
http://rbfmerrill.blogspot.com/2011/09/opinions-christmas-fun.html
Monday, September 5, 2011. Anyone have recommendations for a fun "Polar Express" like train adventure for Christmas time? I have looked up the ones from Greer, Grand Canyon (Williams), and Globe. We are trying t0 figure out if we can squeeze it into the budget and which one Abigail (and maybe some cousins) would like best. Anyone been to one before? Posted by Rootbeer Floats. September 6, 2011 at 8:07 AM. Nates parents are taking us to the Grand Canyon one this year. Supposed to be really fun!
