It was minnie driver's first big role). it took me a while to get into it, but i've really enjoyed the story and the characters. Notice a trend here? David is...

it's the little things...: Chapter two, Labor and Delivery
http://lisaleonard.blogspot.com/2007/04/chapter-two-labor-and-delivery.html

That didn't do anything, so a few hours later they started a pitocin drip through my IV. The day went very slowly. There was a heaviness in the air. So many close friends and family were there. We felt very loved and supported, in the midst of the emotional strain. I looked her straight in the eye and took a bite. I wasn't in a mood to mess around.

Anyway. it seems to be getting better. Today is the first day that I didn't have to blow my nose and cough up stuff (sorry! For an hour after being awake. It is also the first day I haven't had to go back to sleep after only being up a few hours. I actually had energy to go to the store. They go straight from being washed to the HOT.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Little things that make me smile. Sparkles make me smile. since (being now a resident of oregon) the glimmer of sunshine is something that makes me smile. simply because we see less of the sunshine up here. (by the way. did you know that in the springtime it isn't supposed to be 75-85 degrees? 2: hanging from my birdcage {minus the bird}, next to a lamp and candle that allow the glass to glimmer, glisten, and shine. Ps more to come on our little adventures in oregon. }.

Here's a quote at the end of the book: 'that's what i want my life to be, like a well-loved gift. i think life, just life, just breathing in and out, is a great gift. God gives us something amazing when he gives us life, and i want to live with gratitude.'. Sunday, July 12, 2009.

The picture below his head stone. decorated about 6 months ago by jeremy with rocks. Jeremy keeping his papa's picture clean. My favorite picture of the day. the kids sat at his grave for a little while and then walked away comforting on another. a treasured memory for sure. My sweet niece becca. Uncle todd and becca doing 'up downs'.
