My computer is broken (again), so this week, I'd like to present another edition of Ultraman's photo diary via my iPod. Enjoy! Greetings, earthlings. It's been awhile. One of our colleagues suggests that we invent a new word: "shink." It's a verb which means "to travel by Shinkansen." As in, "today we shinked to Hanamaki." Or is the past tense shank? Sometime during home assignment I’m sure I’m going to have insatiable cravings for manjū, so I may as well practice now… and I’m putting off things I actually need to do by working on the all-important “cleaning out the pantry” project. There were beans that needed eating, also brown sugar. We’re moving, after all. Here’s my first attempt. I might post updates later if I have any better attempts later on…. Ingredients, for 12 manjū:. 190; teaspoon dry yeast. 115 mL warm water.

On top of attending Pirate Fest and visiting Natalynn, I also got to go home to Idaho for a week, Keith's parents came to visit, and we hosted some Chinese students for a week.
