https://hookisland.wordpress.com/2016/07/11/just-played-hail-caesar-2
Middot; Greco-Persian Wars. Middot; Hail Caesar. Just played… Hail Caesar. 11 July, 2016. 11 July, 2016. Just after I’d finished my latest batch of Persians. Johan came over to my house for some ancients action. We used the Hail Caesar. Rules, and pitched the freshly raised Persians against my Greek veterans in an imaginary battle during the Greco-Persian Wars. Not only was it satisfying to bring my new 6mm lads to the table, but it had also been a while since I last played. Who is a horse trader by day.

https://hookisland.wordpress.com/2016/07/01/really-small-persians-part-ii
Middot; Greco-Persian Wars. Middot; Project Logs. Project log: Really Small Persians, part II. 1 July, 2016. 6 July, 2016. I’ve finally managed to get some more Persians. Off the painting table, which is a relief. Together with my previous batch. These wee lads will provide me with a decent-sized contingent for use in smaller battles against my Greeks. I still have a long way to go before I’ve got a “complete” Persian army, but I’m getting there. First off, a unit of Egyptian Marines. Crème de la crème.

A couple of weeks back, me, Ulf and Andy met up for a game of To the Strongest! And played out on our brand spanking new. Which we have purchased from the ever so friendly and helpful Mr. Simon Miller. Constantly evaded and ...

The second batch of finished minis cosists of miniatures from Pulp Figures. I do enjoy Pulp gaming. The best rules for this type of gaming is probably the ruleset known as " Pulp Alley". Heroes and Bad Guys from the Pulp Era(1920s-1930s). If you want some battle reports or more insights into what this game is all about then I suggest you visit the following blog.

First impressions: Cuba Libre – Hook Island Gaming
https://hookisland.wordpress.com/2016/09/07/first-impressions-cuba-libre
Middot; Modern conflicts. First impressions: Cuba Libre. 7 September, 2016. 7 September, 2016. And it’s weird, but when I’m not painting I find it hard to muster any great enthusiasm for putting minis on the table. Some Clash of Cultures. And lately a couple of sessions of this year’s most hyped game, Scythe. The American i...
