Wednesday, January 26, 2011. I know. You guys probably don't check my blog very much because I am a TOTAL SLACKER. I am aware of this. I really have no excuse. Here's a little catch-up. In October, we were so lucky. How lucky, you ask? The toilet in our upstairs bathroom decided to surprise us with a leak. Bad toilet. It got sent to the garage. Then some guys came and made a hole in my ceiling. These are the pumpkins we grew in our very first garden. These are some of the decorations we put on our house.

Saturday, November 28, 2009. Previously viewed snow pictures. I'm hoping that posting some of the previous years snow pictures will help prompt some new snow this year. So far it has been severely. Lacking. Obviously global. Warming is to blame, right. I thought Obama would have solved this problem for us all by now but I guess he's been too busy spending tax payer money. But I digress. what we really need is snow in Idaho. How else will I get to use my season pass to Bogus Basin? A little help here!

Tales of our crazy boy. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Jack was carefully placing his clothes on the floor one day, and I asked him what he was doing. He replied that he was making a boy. Now, I often find his clothes like this around the house. Crazy little kid. Recently, Jack pulled this little guy out of his stuffed animal pile. He decided to name him "Wompa" for the sound he makes when you push his belly. He takes really good care of his Wompa. I love watching these tender moments with Jack.

Tales of our crazy boy. Thursday, March 15, 2012. Like most kids, Jack gave up napping when he was about 3.5 years old. It was about a year ago.I remember it well.it marked the end of my ability to get much done around the house. Anyway, when we put him in preschool in September, they were able to get him back on daily naps. For a full hour and a half! When you met your kindergarten teacher for the first time and bravely shook her hand and said, "I'm Jack Allen," I thought I might burst with pride. When I drop you off at school, you barely have time for a good-bye because of your excitement for the day. It's wonderful to see, even if it's hard for me to experience.
