Sunday, March 28, 2010. This weekend Marc and I went up to Moscow for an Admitted Student's Day at the law school at U of I. First, we woke up at 3:15 am on Saturday so we could make it to Moscow before 10:00, but didn't realize that there was a time change and we got there an hour early. would have loved to spend that extra hour sleeping! Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Brady and I are currently training for our second go around of the half marathon Robie Creek! It is 9 miles up hill and the other 4 straight down! Its the hardest half in the northwest! We are excited to beat our times from last year! We have been training for about 2 months now! Only about 2 to go! The race is on April 16th! Brady knows me so well and got me a HUGE heart balloon, a dozen red roses, and the best ever.New running/workout shoes! He got me the new Nike Free with the chip that links to my ipod so it logs my workouts and runs! Used it today and it was amazing! Is it sad that a highlight for our family is a trip to Costco every other month? I think not. But it's debatable. This house is entirely life consuming and it's starting to get tricky. We signed up to put some serious sweat equity into this bad boy and our time for action is fast approaching! So besides contracting the dang thing we have taken on the installation of the hardwood flooring, the siding, roofing, all trim and moldings, landscaping, now tile laying, and I'm sure there's more.
