Monday, December 1, 2008. Missouri State University has recently taken the next step to get cozy with the "in crowd" who make use of online social networks. Brad Mitchell (New Media guru) has taken on a handful with his job of managing and creating (plus more) social media profiles on a variety of social media sites (such as Twitter. Still manages to take on additional tasks (such as the new iClass function sponsored by Apple he is now working on and the various technicial roles he must fill).

There are two difficult tasks to overcome when deciding to start using Twitter. First, is the grammar involved with past, past participle, present, subjunctive and future ways of even talking about Twitter. Did I just 'twit' a message on Twitter? Did I make a 'tweet'? Am I going to "tweet" or "twitter it"?

Monday, November 24, 2008. MSU = Must Socialize Uniquely. After the presentation by Mr. Brad Mitchell it seems like MSU is doing it's part within the social networks. It is important for the University to use these networks to their advantage. MSU is targeting highschool students through these mediums to help them learn more about MSU and hopefully get them excited about the possibility of going to school here.
