Home Sweet Home: Serial Duck Killer
http://deanandshelley.blogspot.com/2011/03/serial-duck-killer.html
Dean is outside working, the boys are playing and I should be working, but I'd rather talk to you. Saturday, March 26, 2011. As you read in an earlier post, we have a few ducks on our farm these days. However, we have a couple less because "something" is killing them in the night. Dean isn't sure if it is a raccoon or a possum. But, judging from the mess of feathers, a struggle occured. The next morning, he calls me on the cell phone. "You're not gonna believe what we caught! An Owl and he is not happy!

January 2010 - Daniel turns 8 and decides he wants to go to RideMakerZ in Branson for his birthday. If you are unfamiliar with RideMakerZ, it's like Build-A-Bear, but it's Build-A-Car. His oldest sibling, Richard, was 21 when Dean was born. Richard had already "flown the coop" and was serving in the Army, stationed in Ft. Campbell, KY. It was a fun family time! Happy Birthday, Richard! It was a great party. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. From Their Point of View. And I'll post pics.). After taking the 'before' shots, I unknowingly left th...

Dean is outside working, the boys are playing and I should be working, but I'd rather talk to you. Monday, January 17, 2011. Update on Dean Vs. Divine Redemption (Also known as Stormy). If you'll remember from a previous post, Dean and Stormy had a little run in with Dean ending up on the ground. Dean could still walk but with a terrible limp. Our doctor told Dean to wait it out and see if the knee would heal on its own. I wonder if he misses us? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Plans For the New Year.

Home Sweet Home: Duck Launch 2010
http://deanandshelley.blogspot.com/2011/01/duck-launch-2010.html
Dean is outside working, the boys are playing and I should be working, but I'd rather talk to you. Monday, January 17, 2011. One of the items on my "Bucket List" was to have ducks at our farm. Nothing says "Farm Living" like ducks swimming on the pond. To "cross this item off the list", we became the proud owners of six ducks last spring. We coddled them. We fed and watered them each day. We kept them safe. But, maybe we kept them 'safe' too long.and in a not-so-duckly-way? 65279;. All was not lost...

Home Sweet Home: June 2010
http://deanandshelley.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Dean is outside working, the boys are playing and I should be working, but I'd rather talk to you. Friday, June 25, 2010. Dean's favorite time of the year.getting the combine out and cutting fescue! I get that question quite often. Fescue is grass seed that you purchase at your favorite lawn and garden center. As you're walking through a field, you run your fingers across the tall grass and pull the seeds off.that is usually fescue. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Update on The Latest. He has already named them:.

This was basically the boys' first time to go roller skating. I have not been roller skating in . many years. But, it's just like riding a bike. Once you learn how - it easily comes back to you. I didn't fall down once (thankfully! Luke - a friend of Daniel's.it was his first time roller skating and he did a great job!

Dean is outside working, the boys are playing and I should be working, but I'd rather talk to you. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Follow the Yellow Brick Road. My mother's birthday is December 22. Growing up, it was hard for her to differentiate between Christmas and Birthday. Invariably, she would receive birthday presents wrapped with Christmas paper. So, I make sure that I use roses or balloon-themed wrapping paper these days. The Wizard of Oz. Growing up, watching. The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy and gang at the...
