But I halved it and it yields 2 x 9" pizzas. Do go into his site for the recipe and the method. Was out for most of the day with Yohei today and by the time we got home, I was a bit too tired to cook. Whipped up a quick Salmon Teriyaki with Ume Somen. Ingredients for the teriyaki sauce was only shoyu, mirin and sugar. I don't have any mirin at home so I substituted with a grapefruit wine that's sitting in the refrigerator. Ume somen was bought in November 2011 from Isetan when they were having some fairs.

The crabs were delivered alive and the young man even helped to keep the crabs alive in my sink with some salted water. With a couple of apples that I need to use up quickly, I baked some Apple Cinnamon Cranberry Muffins - something that my son would never ask for (he doesn't like the smell of cinnamon :P). The recipe was from taste.com. And it was quite simple. I didn't have any raisins (my son doesn't like them) so i subsituted with cranberries (no, he doesn't like these either). 300g (2 cups) plain flour. 1 tbs baking powder.

Have not had much time for baking lately but today, I had to do something with leftover strawberries so what's faster than strawberry muffins? The recipe was from Joyful Baker. But I added a bit of milk to the recipe as I find the batter a bit too dry. The boy invited his friends home for a little party and as with our past tradition, we baked him a cake. Chocolate cake is the natural choice. Instead of the tried and tested recipe that I always used, I decided to search for something easier. Found one that claims it's from the owner of Twelve Cupcakes and that the result is almost like Awfully Chocolate. 1 cup freshly brewed coffee. 1/2 cup corn oil.
