Kickin' Cancer like a NINJA!
Wednesday, April 18, 2012. I think that perhaps I should start a blog and dedicate it to the funny, amazing and creative things that my 4 year old says on a daily basis! Yesterday the boys and I were out running a couple of errands, we drove a different way than we normally do and we drove passed a mosque. Ty asked me "what's that place mummy? Kickin' Cancer's Ass. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Will it ever end? March 5, 2010. I am living proof of the power of prayer. By all rights, I should not be here. I am sure my battle will be a constant one the rest of my days, but I am alive. At the time of my diagnosis, my son was 2. Today he turns 5. I had no idea how many of his birthdays I would see. Keep it in your pants. December 3, 2009. My hope is that is. These men are, or were, married to women who many men dream about! I know that there ...

Kickin Cancer's Butt
Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Today, the kids and I received a wonderful surprise from Myles's friends from UGA: a brick. Not just any brick, but a commemorative copy of a brick that will be inside the new College Football Hall of Fame being built in Atlanta. Given how much Myles loved college football, especially his Dawgs, this is a very appropriate gift. But after receiving the following story, it's even more appropriate. T, we're having an earthquake! So we thought an appropriate and ever lasting tribute...
