PS I Have Cancer. Navigating life during and after my crazy Ovarian Cancer journey. My Cancer F.A.Q. My Tribute to Diem Brown. Gave her a platform to share her story. She gave a face and a voice to Ovarian Cancer. She created a website called Medgift. Which allows cancer patients and others who are sick or disabled to register for help with their medical bills or other related expenses. She used her fame and her platform from MTV to help other survivors. Diem always had such a zest for live and an unyiel...

PS I Have Cancer. Navigating life during and after my crazy Ovarian Cancer journey. My Cancer F.A.Q. 12 Things I Wish I Knew When I Was Diagnosed With Cancer. 1 Do NOT under any circumstances research your diagnosis on the internet! 2 DO go to support websites such as I Had Cancer. To find a network of new friends who also had cancer. When you are diagnosed you will feel alone and you will need to talk to someone who understands you. 3 DO get multiple opinions until you settle on an oncologist. All I wil...

PS I Have Cancer. Navigating life during and after my crazy Ovarian Cancer journey. My Cancer F.A.Q. A Clean Bill of Health. Wow, I have not posted to this blog since September! Other than getting married (yay! There have been no major changes in my life. For the past few days, I have felt inspired to write again. On May 1st, I celebrated my two year cancerversary. While in many ways I have moved forward in my life, I still have so many conflicting emotions. Why is it so weird to hear that I am healthy?

PS I Have Cancer. Navigating life during and after my crazy Ovarian Cancer journey. My Cancer F.A.Q. My Cancer F.A.Q. I have blogged about all the messy details of my cancer but my F.A.Q. is to answer the more specific questions about my condition. What type of cancer do you have? I have borderline Ovarian Cancer that spread to my lymph nodes in my right groin and abdomen. Did you show any symptoms? What is a borderline tumor? Did the cancer spread to any other organs? What type of treatment did you get?

PS I Have Cancer. Navigating life during and after my crazy Ovarian Cancer journey. My Cancer F.A.Q. When it Rains…it Pours. I also signed up for a local Relay for Life. I am trying to build a team but none of my friends seem keen on camping out overnight and walking. It anyone has ever done a Relay for Life, you camp out beside a track and take turns walking it overnight. I think the idea is pretty awesome so I am going to try to convince more people to join. Update: Reaching 1 year and Closer to Free.

PS I Have Cancer. Navigating life during and after my crazy Ovarian Cancer journey. My Cancer F.A.Q. Dark Cloud Raining Down on Me. This post is really hard to write. I have not been active on blogging lately because I have been in a funk. I debated on whether or not I wanted to post this but maybe somewhere there is a cancer survivor who feels the same way and can support me. Or they will read this and not feel alone. Where do I start? This entry was posted on July 29, 2013. Leave a comment.

PS I Have Cancer. Navigating life during and after my crazy Ovarian Cancer journey. My Cancer F.A.Q. But I will not do that. I will walk in Smilow on Wednesday morning. I will receive my contrast drink and Eric and I will retreat to the healing garden until it is time for the scan. I will have a port inserted into my arm while they inject the actual contrast into me. And I will hold my breath as the CT Scan takes pictures of my insides. Then I will wait…. Dark Cloud Raining Down on Me. Just a Quick Note.

PS I Have Cancer. Navigating life during and after my crazy Ovarian Cancer journey. My Cancer F.A.Q. Wow How Time Flies. I have been so horrible at keeping up this blog. I apologize. So much has happened over the past month. I will admit now, I have been horrible with training for Closer to a Free Ride. Eric and I are going to start going out again this week and really start pushing ourselves. We just have been so busy. Eric and I also have a major event to celebrate. On my birthday, he proposed! When it...
