Kickin It With Kaela. Kickin It With Kaela. Monday, April 29, 2013. NBC6 Powerful Kid Care Production. Cookin' and Kickin' was recently on NBC6! Many kids fend for themselves when it comes to after school snacks. Some parents are still at work, while others are just too busy with other chores to deal with snack time. That leaves kids to reach for the "easy" snacks which are almost always packed with sugar, salt, and added fat that isn't needed. Dan and I recently teamed up with Broward Health.

This last Wednesday afternoon, Dan and I, along with a few other members of the Dolphin Family met with 50 students from Greynolds Park Elementary School at Haulover Park to fly some kites. The kids had fun, and the tab was picked up by the Dolphins. The kids got to pick out and keep their kite, and enjoyed lunch and ice cream after their time flying. Let's Go Fly A Kite! It's in the air!
