For the Love of Dogs: Spring!
http://oneceemonkey.blogspot.com/2010/04/spring.html
April 18, 2010. Thank goodness Spring is here! The winter was long and snowy, and we were just ready to go outside and do stuff. We are finally able! And we've been busy! We finished putting down the tile and grouted it the other day. And now for the big project: the roof. After much debate, we hired someone to come do it and the material showed up the other day. Here's a picture of our roof now (it's in baaaad shape):. I doubt it will bloom this year, but I'm looking forward to that day it does.

For the Love of Dogs: December 2009
http://oneceemonkey.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
December 28, 2009. That's how the trip started out. It got better, it really did. Despite the blizzard, the poopy, pukey car, and whining dog, we ended up having a good time. My mom's pretty tree, before the destruction began. My nephew, tearing through his gifts. My 2 nieces and brother, showing off my niece's new netbook (is it just me, or are the gifts kids get now ridic? I used to get lite brites and stuffed animals. These kids are getting computers, iTouch, XBox, etc. . .). Sampson, aka "Poopface".

For the Love of Dogs: May 2009
http://oneceemonkey.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
May 26, 2009. I haven't posted lately, so here's what we've been doing the last couple of weeks. This past weekend was a big test for Sampson as our friends from Chicago came in for Memorial Day weekend with their dog, Hayden. Sampson does great with our dogs, but strange dogs, and especially strange male dogs, make him very uneasy. It was a little hairy (pardon the pun) at first, but eventually Hayden and Sampson were best friends! Molly likes to watch TV. She's a weirdo. May 6, 2009. My cousin and me.

For the Love of Dogs: July 2010
http://oneceemonkey.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
July 31, 2010. We finally bit the bullet and took Sampson in for a shave. They were able to use a longer blade on him so he's not totally bald, but it's short for sure! When we got home he ran into the house and immediately went to his spot in the office and pouted - we think he's embarrassed. I'm so ashamed.". He's asleep right now (getting groomed is an exhausting process! But I think in the next couple days/weeks he'll definitely feel better! It's been so stinkin' hot - I would say anything helps!

For the Love of Dogs: The roof is done!
http://oneceemonkey.blogspot.com/2010/04/roof-is-done.html
April 24, 2010. The roof is done! Finished product, just in time, as it's been raining here for a couple of days. Sampson didn't like the roofers being around at first, but adjusted to them fairly quickly. I think he's pleased with the end result. We are getting our tree trimmed today. So exciting to be a homeowner and waste money on things like this! April 26, 2010 at 8:05 AM. That made a huge difference and Im so glad they got it done in time for the rain! For the Love of Dogs: September 2009
http://oneceemonkey.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
September 27, 2009. Yesterday was my birthday - the 2nd anniversary of my 29th. Ha. My parents came into town yesterday so celebrating with friends was Friday night. I had a great time, and as is age-appropriate, I didn't try to drink my weight in shots, like I did, say, 10 years ago. September 9, 2009. We couldn't have done it without him. I mean, really, I don't think we could have. Now all that's left is the floor. Hope everyone else had a great official-end-of-summer weekend as well!

For the Love of Dogs: June 2009
http://oneceemonkey.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
June 30, 2009. On Sunday, the United States played Brazil in the final for the Confederations Cup. Jason was. Excited for this game and got up early to make sure he had plenty of time to do the things he felt he needed to do in order to devote himself entirely to the game. I mean, he was awake before me. To those who know us, this is weird. Macey probably walked around our coffee table 20 times. It was the perfect height for her. I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend! June 17, 2009. But don't know ...

On the Road Again: January 2011
http://ontheroadagainwiththestegings.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
On the Road Again. Yeahwe move a lot. Monday, January 31, 2011. Just another Sunday evening. Austin is running around the house laughing and playing. Have a nice dinner planned. My mom was coming over, a little salmon and zucchinni about ready to go in the oven. Potatoes just had been started. Thought I would give Luke a bath quick and get him ready for bed before dinner. Should have known it was the calm before the storm. Come from his mouth and I knew our night was just about to get interesting. Sticke...
