Were getting ready to start the trek and this little Blue Monkey keeps trying to steal our food. I didnt realize how dangerous Kili could be! So were all packed, ready to go and our Guide, Orest, says our duffle bags are way to heavy! Scotts is 18lbs, mine is 20lbs and Hamishs weighs in at a hefty 22lbs! Monday, January 30, 2012.

The journey of a thousand miles also ends with a single step; right now Im on the Airport Shuttle back to Canmore on a balmy -7 Celsius bluebird day.
