Do I mind being shunned by my family on Game Night? Not at all. I LOVE watching all of my favorite people doing things that they enjoy and spending time together. I may read a book or make snacks for them. The best part is that we are finally getting past the little kid games and enjoying the competition it brings with it! It has happened. My baby boy has turned seven. It is hard to believe that seven years ago I had my last child. Our family was founded on December 19, 1998. Since then, we have lived in Salt Lake, UT, Provo, UT, Sacramento, CA, Chandler, AZ, and last but not least, Maricopa, AZ. We have three beautiful children (no, I’m not biased, I only speak the truth) and, thankfully, no pets. Stephanie stays at home with the kids and has way too many projects. What have we been up to? We then had a fun week of going to the movies and I baked to my heart’s content. With all of my working, and almost getting pneumonia, I didn’t really have a chance to do a lot of cooking before we went on vacation. Who does she need to talk to? My children did the traditional breakfast in bed with homemade cards, which in my mind are never cliche. They knew I was in a fitness challenge with my family, so they made me a healthy breakfast. After I ate, they gave me their cards. Each of them had written me a poem. We’ll start with Cameron’s. 1 2 3 4 Cool. 5 6 7 8 You are. 9 10 11 12 Awesome. 13 14 15 16 Happy Mother’s Day. This is Brenden’s. Has a nice house. Everyday she’s nice. Never play video games on Sunday. Day of the week. You go to church.
