It has happened. My baby boy has turned seven. It is hard to believe that seven years ago I had my last child. Do I mind being shunned by my family on Game Night? Not at all. I LOVE watching all of my favorite people doing things that they enjoy and spending time together. I may read a book or make snacks for them. The best part is that we are finally getting past the little kid games and enjoying the competition it brings with it! This young lady will be missed in this life, but she is rejoicing in the next. Three years of hospital visits and horrible treatments are over for good. I pray for her family and hope that one day they will taste of the goodness of Christ and be together. Our family was founded on December 19, 1998. Since then, we have lived in Salt Lake, UT, Provo, UT, Sacramento, CA, Chandler, AZ, and last but not least, Maricopa, AZ. We have three beautiful children (no, I’m not biased, I only speak the truth) and, thankfully, no pets. Stephanie stays at home with the kids and has way too many projects. I had told the kids about all of the housework we were going to do over the break, including cleaning and decluttering their rooms, and I realized that it was starting to sound like a punishment. Sunday, March 24, 2013. While Ben was gone, we got pounded a couple of times with snow. I think we had seven snow days. This is the snowman the kids and I made. This is as tall as they were interested in making it. We used veggies for the face, so they were gone the the next morning thanks to our local furry friends. The girls had Cowboy/Cowgirl Day at school. They wanted to pose in their outfits before they left. They are holding the rope we got in Nauvoo. Tansy's birthday was March 14. She is six!

Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Tansy got to participate in Operation Spirit this year. It's for kids 5-12, and they get to spend the morning with a parent pretending to deploy. They get a call at 7:00 Saturday morning with instructions to report to the deployment center. They have briefings, go through legal and medical stuff, and get to check out some other stuff. Sunday, May 13, 2012. Sydney turned 8 last month. She requested a red dragon party. I managed to find a pinata from Oriental Trading and I made this cake. The picture actually makes it look better than it turned out, but Sydney and her friends thought it was awesome so it was a success. Tyler did not bother waiting for a fork. And left the room. Sunday, August 19, 2012. It's been a fun couple of weeks. Last weekend, we went to the Missouri State Fair. It is held in Sedalia so it only takes us about 25 minutes to get there. We let the kids do the pony rides this year. Tyler was excited until he realized the horses were real. I talked in him to getting on, and once they started moving, he was good. Sunday, March 16, 2014. Of course, Ben had to show off his weapons before we sent the kids off to bed that night. Although the entire episode had a running dialogue on gun safety from Ben, I was still somewhat uncomfortable with the whole thing. We were at the airport early the next morning. Friday, February 22, 2013. Tyler had his first dentist appointment since he is now 3. It did not go well. These glasses are probably the only part of the appointment he enjoyed. Perhaps we can find a pediatric dentist in Arizona and see if that helps. Then again, what 3-year-old enjoys the dentist? He perked up a bit for presents. The Sweet Life of Kim and Jasmine! We're not your typical family, more like an extended slumber party! Sunday, October 10, 2010. I'm definitely not a great blogger! We've had an absolutely insane couple of months. Summer just flew by! Then both me and Jasmine started school. Jasmine started 2nd grade and I started my final Fall semester!
