Of all the recipes I've either made ice cream from or read, this recipe takes the cake! 1 qt half and half. 1 C sweetened condensed milk. I buy my vanilla beans here. Yep, that's it! Pour into the canister and turn/mix according to the directions on your ice cream maker. Freeze for at least 4 hours in canister or airtight container, then serve when desired.

Tuesday, October 21, 2014. We headed to Lost Maples State Natural Area for fall break this year. We spent the first night in the main campground and then did a little backpacking to reach our site for the next night. Pie crust - store bought or handmade. 2 C powdered sugar. 1 T milk or orange juice, more drops if needed. Preheat oven 400°. Roll out the pie crust, cut in 3-5 inch circles using a biscuit cutter, glass or bowl. Rework the unused pie crust and roll it out again, cut. Repeat as necessary. Laying the circles out on a pastry board, spread a teaspoon of Nutella in the middle of each one. 2 C powdered sugar.
