Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Tomorrow I'm going to Taipei's National Palace Museum. This museum is said to be one of the top five most important museums in the world. Everything in it was stolen from China when the Nationalist Party quit the mainland in 1949 and moved everyone to Taiwan. So the artwork has mostly come from China. Just like the pandas at the Taipei Zoo, where I'm going on Friday. Leaving next Wednesday night and still so much to do! Labels: National palace museum. What am I doing in Taiwan?
