Toes in the Sand. Happy Valentine’s Day. Last night we saw this before we went to bed. Then this morning we woke up to this:. We had our very own Winter Wonderland. I think that we received a total of 4.5 inches of snow. Yes, I know that is not a lot for those that are under 4-5 feet of snow right now. This is a once in a decade event for those in the southeast. Welcome - King Alfred Concert Band
King Alfred Concert Band. The King Alfred Concert Band is a well-established concert band based in Somerset. The band was founded in 1981 by Martyn Owen, who at the time was head of music at The King Alfred School, Somerset. It started life as a school concert band, but over the years has become a community group and now includes perfomers of all ages from in and around the area. Our Music Director is Sheila Philp, the current head of music at The King Alfred School.
