Mrs. Blanco's Class: Welcome
http://mrsblancosclass.blogspot.com/2011/06/welcome.html
Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Needless to say my summer vacation won't be much of a vacation. I am interested in starting a classroom blog. I want my students to be able to create the posts as a way to share what is going on in the classroom and celebrate their learning. I would also like to use it as another way to communicate with parents. June 12, 2011 at 9:33 AM. June 12, 2011 at 11:13 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to Ms. Rush's Class. http://mrsblancosclass.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 29, 2011. As I am working on this blog, the wheels have been turning and I am thinking of ideas on how I will use this in my classroom. The new school year is almost here .students will be filling in my classroom August 18th. Yikes that's soon! So I came up with some ideas on how I will use this blog in my classroom. Students can find links to practice their math skills by the links I provide. Just in case students would lose the paper copy parents can refer to the blog. I am interested i...

The clear pictures also were important, showing the various stages. The repetition of the terms will help ensure higher retention of the topic. Great video. Even “too cool” fourth graders will be sure to love this one! June 27, 2011 at 10:38 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Must Reads for Fourth Graders.

My Blog: Using a blog in the classroom
http://shanika0605.blogspot.com/2011/06/using-blog-in-classroom.html
View my complete profile. Sunday, June 26, 2011. Using a blog in the classroom. I did some looking around and found the following to be great ways to use blogging in my classroom:. Used to inform students of class requirements, post handouts, notices, and homework assignments, or act as a question and answer board. Students can discuss topics outside of the classroom. Every child has an opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions. June 27, 2011 at 10:35 AM. June 29, 2011 at 4:56 PM. Shiloh by Phylli...

View my complete profile. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. What you might want to know about me. I mean everything is open past 8:30-9:00! I finished up my first year of teaching and loved every minute of it. I had an amazing class of fourth graders and had some amazing parents that came with those students. I still tell everyone that if it was not for the open communication with my students' parents, I wouldn't have been able to survive! June 12, 2011 at 4:54 PM. I completely agree that open communication and the...
