March 23, 2015. So after a period of being slightly missing in action I’m back. Since December I started exercising again…it was a slow start. I decided that I will only start writing updates if I can continue my exercise program. For abou t 4 months I battled with hectic pain in my feet – did go to doctor and was told might be one of my various meds so I just kept on exercising through the pain. Having tried to get to 30 mins non stop running several times on my own on the treadmill I finally bit the bullet and signed up for a running class to 1) get over my fear of running outside and 2) build up the stamina to run for 3o mins. 8 weeks later and I can run (jog slowly) for 30 mins non stop! 25 min walk in the park. 1*4 run: 2 walk.

March 1, 2017. Cambridge half marathon next Sunday. Not the most flattering picture of me running towards the finish line at Cambridge parkrun recently. But, on the positive side it does show me ahead of my arch rival Eric (in red). We are both running below par at the moment. I haven’t got a good excuse but Eric has.
