Sunflowers in my Kitchen. I had never tried wassail, but my husband insisted it was a holiday neccesity, to I was determined to make it. I was glad I did! Adapted from the Belgian Wassail recipe from MyRecipes. 6 clementines ( or 2 oranges. I used what I had. 1 gallon apple cider. 1 tsp whole allspice. I let a lemon rind continue to float in the wassail as a colorful garnish. The fruity, citrusy warm spiced drink was perfect to share for Christmas dinner- and made the whole house smell good!
