Adventures in Baby Making: Punch to the Gut
http://adventuresinbabymakin.blogspot.com/2011/12/punch-to-gut.html
Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Punch to the Gut. So yesterday, we took the car in to be serviced before leaving for Christmas vacation. We have yet to buy a second car since the unfortunate destruction of the Mazda last year, but it works out for the most part since Eric works from home. Annnnnyway, as a result, I had the car shuttle service pick me up from work and take me back to the dealership to get the car. Blah Blah Blah, like your work? Yes, but I'm happy to be done for the day. I'm exhausted!

Adventures in Baby Making: Six months gone by...
http://adventuresinbabymakin.blogspot.com/2011/06/six-months-gone-by.html
Monday, June 6, 2011. Six months gone by. Wow I cannot believe six months have gone by since my last post, and I'm the mother of an eight month old (tomorrow, anyway). Time has really flown. You may wonder why I haven't been around, and frankly, there are several reasons. One being I just don't have the time like I used to! As far as what's been going on, Lane is doing GREAT! I'll leave you saying that I hope to get back into blogging more regularly, but I don't want to make any promises. I've alread...

http://beingvond.blogspot.com/2010/01/feeling-accomplished.html
Well we had a very productive weekend! It's awesome to start off the new year finishing up a bunch of projects that we've been meaning to do for oh. a year and a halfish. So here's our weekend in photos:. First off, we finally got a new curtain rod and sheers, and re-hung our new curtains for our front window! Wow that is one bright photo! Here's a close-up of the fabric. JCPenney ROCKS. We got these for 50% off! Ahh I feel so accomplished now! Yay Kitty. Great blog! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Being VonD: Road Trip!
http://beingvond.blogspot.com/2009/09/road-trip.html
The VD road trip begins in less than 48 hours! This is the first "real" road trip either of us has ever taken, so it's sure to be an adventure (to say the least). We'll be traveling just over 4,000 miles round trip, from our home in Ventura, CA, to Cedar Rapids, IA and back (you can see our route below - we're starting with the Southwest). We'll be posting updates every evening right here with each day's events. No guarantees that it will always be exciting, but we hope you'll follow along! Simple templa...

Being VonD: 09.09
http://beingvond.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
A fellow blogger recently posted about her weekend visiting some cider mills in her state. It sounded like such a good time, and got me thinking about what kind of fun Fall activities Aaron and I could do locally on the cheap. And I remembered - there's a honey farm and honey tasting room out in Fillmore. Every time we pass it one of us says to the other, "We should go there sometime." So I googled it: www.bennetthoney.com. I am terrified of bees (we have a bad history! Steps off soapbox* *. I'm sitting ...

Being VonD: Warm the Home
http://beingvond.blogspot.com/2012/02/warm-home.html
At my last women's group meeting, one of the ladies mentioned that a goal of hers was to "warm the home" on a daily basis when she got home from work. As she elaborated it became clear that she didn't mean just turning on the heater on chilly days, but to create an overall warm and inviting atmosphere for herself and her husband. Tidy up the living room and light some candles. Make a couple of simple appetizers for "at-home happy hour". Have a beer or cocktail ready for him when he walks in. Keep the spa...

Being VonD: 05.09
http://beingvond.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
I have to say, for not doing ANYTHING we planned on doing this weekend, it turned out to be pretty productive. Our backyard is starting to look a little nicer, we finally bought some plants - -. AND we planted them! Yesterday. We now have a red rose bush, 2 different kinds of yellow lily, a hydrangea, 2 azaleas (purple and pink), a red gerber daisy and a fern. The best part is most of them are already flowering! Still to complete - the fire pit! It's so close too. All we need is some sand, and I'm su...
