Sunday, December 18, 2011. Tomorrow I start 4 days of teaching winter craft camp at Spruill. Not Christmas camp mind you because this is in Dunwoody and 90% of Dunwoodians are of one the 12 tribes of Isreal. I'm just saying. It's one week till Christmas and I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was thinking it might be a train, but now I think it might be a string of Christmas lights. Keeping up with the Joneses. Saturday, May 18, 2013. My Mother's Day didn't start until 10am when I opened my lazy eyes and looked around. Ahhhhh. That alone would pretty much have made my week. What followed made this mother's day one for the books. When I dragged myself out of bed, I would see two new hanging baskets of flowers on the balcony. So pretty! One purple and one yellow and both huge. Well done, Jones! Downstairs there was coffee and bacon. Was I dead? Not just any lake, THIS beautiful lake!

Keeping up with the Joneses. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Christmas in San Jose. We've been on vacation in San Jose for Christmas. It's been a wonderful trip. We are so lucky. Christmas eve we went for a walk in downtown San Jose to see the little Christmas village. Amy loved it. It was really cold, but we bundled her up in a blankie and a hat, and she did just fine. We stayed out for a few hours and then headed home so Amy could get to bed in time for a visit from Santa Claus. Friday, December 30, 2011.

Keeping up with the Joneses. Saturday, February 22, 2014. A Capital day at the capitol. Today we had an outing full of Boise adventures. We started at Edwards greenhouses where we watched a painting class and Amy showed us how to moonwalk. We tried out the adirondack chairs for as long as we could get away with it. We bought some hyacinths and then headed over to the co-op for lunch. Rob had a burrito (of course), and Amy and I hit up the lunch bar. And the cookies. It's very pretty close up.

Keeping up with the Joneses. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Saturday, March 30, 2013. We saw other people! Rob's friend from work invited us to her church's Easter Egg hunt. She lives out in the country and her church is a really cute little church among a bunch of farms. They had a little story of Easter pageant, bunny crafts, and a decorate-your-own-sugar cookie center. They gave Amy two cookies, so I ate one. It was awesome. And smeared with neon pink icing and rabbit shaped sprinkles. They had baby goats!
