Knightly Family Journey: My first Sunday in Namibia...

http://www.knightlyfamilyjourney.blogspot.com/2010/09/my-first-sunday-in-namibia.html

Friday, September 10, 2010. My first Sunday in Namibia. I went to Pilgrim Baptist church in Katatura (Windhoek). this is the Angolan church we attended for a long time while we were living in Namibia. It was nice to reconnect, but a lot of the young people were gone back to Angola on holidays so I missed out on seeing several of them. It was great to experience the CHOIR and SINGING. two things I loved about this church. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). On the road to Tsumeb. Back to Five Rand.

http://knightlyfamily.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Life in Africa. AND other places! Friday, October 17, 2008. Here's what we are up to. I thought I would write a bit of an update letting everyone know what we have been up to the last couple of months. Pete left for Ft. St. John to work with a trucking company that moves oil rig equipment. He is hoping to get his class one driving license. He hasn't been as busy as he would like but has made good use of his time by listening to some really awesome sermons. It has been good for me to be here, resting!

Knightly News Update!: Winter... will it ever end?

http://knightlyfamily.blogspot.com/2011/02/winter-will-it-ever-end.html

Life in Africa. AND other places! Tuesday, February 08, 2011. Winter. will it ever end? It’s February and the snow is falling from the sky. I’ve never been a big fan of winter, but this is really getting depressing. I wonder why everyone wanted to leave the comforts of Europe to settle in a land of endless winter? Variety IS indeed the spice of life! These are my thoughts for today… I have no idea if anyone even reads them, but that’s fine… it’s my journal of life as it ticks by! View my complete profile.

Two guys duke it out over hot topics of disscussion. Wednesday, June 11, 2003. But again we are coming back to the issue of understanding: What is Courtship, and what is Dating? For the young man in the story we read ( Courtship and the Male Ego. Courtship meant going to a lady's father, asking for permission to see her, and then effectively dating her. Which of those two does the Bible say is the real Courtship? Which of those two does the Bible say is the real Dating? The Bible does say not to sin....

An Angel Choir (Nate Collins). A Little Pink Ain’t Never Hurt Nobody (Pierce Moffett). That fateful November I stood with six other guys staring at a smoking pile of dirt in our youth leader’s yard. Buried in the dirt, lay our Thanksgiving turkey. Our leader had managed to convince us somehow that burying a turkey on top of coals in the ground was a good idea. Well, with images of beautiful roasted turkey in our brains, we undid the covering around the bird. Remembering Winter (Daniel Collins). Our hands...
