knit 'n lit: October 2013
http://knitnlit.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
The web of life is a mingled yarn, good and ill together. William Shakespeare. Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Blogger's Quilt Festival: Rainbow Zig Zags. For my second blogger's quilt festival submission. I reached way back into my quilting archives for this baby. (First blogged here. I used 8 Kona solids and Kona Snow. If I made it again I wouldn't strip piece it - I had some trouble with strips biasing. I love the way the colors dance in this quilt, and I would love to make it again! Links to this post.

Neglecting My Kids: Surrender
http://neglectedkids.blogspot.com/2015/08/surrender.html
Finding new ways to ensure my children will need therapy, one day at a time. Tuesday, August 04, 2015. My shelf with my wips is getting a little out of control. Apparently I REALLY like pink project bags. My purple yarn is officially in a time out. It needs to learn to knit nicely. I've got a plan for it. I'm feeling fairly confident about the new course of action. It is a combination of all my previous techniques. But I haven't tried it out yet. I've been a little distracted. But that alpaca yarn. I loo...
Curvaceous Tempting Knit-A-Long
http://temptingcurves.blogspot.com/2005/05/i-finished-tempting-today-i-used.html
Wednesday, May 04, 2005. I finished Tempting today! I used the recommended needles, and got on gauge with GGH Samoa. I started on April 23rd, and finished today. I liked the three needle bind off-someone said it'd be a welcome break to the ribbing, and they were right. I used the striping instructions given here. Posted by Unknown at 7:01 PM. Http:/ zarzuela.blogspot.com. It looks great. And thanks for sharing your finishing advice. That is so adorable! Im about eight inches into the body of Tempting r.
Curvaceous Tempting Knit-A-Long: Improved Eyelets and Large Size Changes
http://temptingcurves.blogspot.com/2005/07/improved-eyelets-and-large-size.html
Monday, July 25, 2005. Improved Eyelets and Large Size Changes. I made a ragland version of Tempting. For my DD. While making it, I was also making eyelet-ribbing socks, and the perfect eyelet pattern for Tempting dawned on me. K2, YO, P2-tog, K2, P2-tog, YO* Repeat. If you make the large size, your eyelet pattern will be offset by 4 sts. For some reason, all the other sizes have a multiple of 8 sts, except the large. I'd rewrite the large size as follows:. Join Sleeves to Body. Posted by Mei at 4:55 PM.

Friday, March 25, 2005. Seems like everyone is talking about modifying the original pattern. Personally, I'm keen on the 3/4 sleeves. I'm also going to bring the neck up and use decreases and seams to create a boat neck. What are you hoping to do? Posted by Sarah at 3:30 PM. Wednesday, March 23, 2005. This knit-a-long started in the Curvaceous Knit. Posted by Sarah at 10:56 AM. April 15, 2005. Improved Eyelets and Large Size Changes. Mines coming slowly, but its still coming. Tempting Still Isnt Done.

Curvaceous Tempting Knit-A-Long: June 2005
http://temptingcurves.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 23, 2005. I love the way this sweater looks and fits, and how easy it was to knit. I like easy projects I can knit while engaging in another activity like conversation or watching TV. I made the large size, but stopped short of all the length schematics. I just kept trying it on as I knit - the body to 14" and the sleeves to 3.5" and then 4" after the join before starting the eyelet row. About halfway through the body, I discovered via Knitty. Curvaceous Tempting Knit-A-Long: April 2005
http://temptingcurves.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 28, 2005. I'm about eight inches into the body of Tempting right now:. While the K2P2 ribbing is a little annoying, it is kind of mindless. Here's what I've learned so far:. 1 Even when you're SURE you didn't twist your stitches- you still might have. 2 Ripping back after only knitting an inch sure is frustrating, but it's useful if you take that time to "try the piece on" to see how it would fit.and when it fits BADLY, you can go down a size. So wish me luck! Posted by Unknown at 11:13 PM.
