A blog about my knitting life! It's a Yarn Thing! Here we go again! Yip…I know…where does this chick go? She says she will post, and then she doesn’t…. Well, here is the explanation folks….no creativity! I have found that all of my creativity in the past 2 months, has been spent on dreaming up Christmas gift ideas, and promotions for work. I did A LOT of gift knitting this year, the most I have ever done, and it was all done by December 22nd! MIL's Posediea Shawl. Ruffle My Feathers Shawl. You are commen...

A blog about my knitting life! It's a Yarn Thing! Today is cooler than yesterday, but still really hot! I soooo feel for all of those in the midwest US, where they have been under this hot, humid weather influence for the past few weeks. I saw coverage on the news last night of lakes that have just dried right up – unbelievable! I am heading home shortly, so will be working on my Skyp Socks and others tonight. Hope that you are staying cool where you are! One Response to “Feeling HOT! Stash, Knit, Repeat.

I would like to have a giveaway, sometime over the next few weeks. I have to find a really nice skein of yarn, and perhaps a book, and other goodies! 8211; I made...

A blog about my knitting life! It's a Yarn Thing! Top 10 Ways to Entertain a Child:. Put on a movie. Play outside with the Frisbee — game off….game on…just for all the Canadians out there (we usually play on the street)! Give them your laptop for a while….although you may never get it back! Go swimming in Grandma and Grandpas’ pool – we are lucky that they are only a short drive from here. Somehow, a puddle, no matter the age, entertains for hours….as well as the bugs it attracts! A little cooler today, ...

I have not yet loaded any books on it, as I am still enjoying one of the paper k...

The ramblings of a knitting and dark chocolate addict! Saturday, March 27, 2010. Here are the photos of the projects that I completed during Ravelympics, Sock Wars and Test Knitting. My Ravelympics projects were of the Shawl kind. I was part of Team Sketchy. I knit The Shawl of Cables using Berroccos Ultra Alpaca in a purple heather colourway. I LOVE this shawl. It was a challenge since the chart was confusing, but I persevered and completed it. That about brings you all up to date on my knitting habit!
