Bennie's Reflections: What I can do with a few hours and a bus pass in San Francisco
http://bennie-reflections.blogspot.com/2009/12/what-i-can-do-with-few-hours-and-bus.html
What I can do with a few hours and a bus pass in San Francisco. I had a whirlwind day today. I worked from my motel from 4AM - NOON. Then I took off with my BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) ticket and went on into San Francisco. You'd be amazed what I can swing off with a few hours, a bus pass and some determination. I took the cable car from Powell to Hyde. When you get to the top of the hill you see the most beautiful view of the Downtown skyline. At the end of the line is Fishermans Warf. I took the trai...

Bennie's Reflections: November 2009
http://bennie-reflections.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Flexible if nothing else. Well our Thanksgiving plans changed at the last minute this year. For years this was the big holiday spent with the neighbors that bring the family down from Erie. They were not able to make it this year for a variety of reasons so we went to a friends house in Greensboro, NC. It was a very nice Thanksgiving with a small group of people. It takes about 4 hours to drive from Myrtle Beach to Greensboro and we have made this trip many times. I'm exicted about the Savannah account&#...

Bennie's Reflections: A Stranger in Savannah
http://bennie-reflections.blogspot.com/2010/03/stranger-in-savannah.html
A Stranger in Savannah. I bet you all thought I fell off the planet. I am still out here kickkin’ on the road. I am in Savannah again this week. I really enjoy my drives down here from Myrtle Beach. I left Monday morning at about 5 AM with the big old full moon in the clear skies. These trips take me about 5 hours to drive so there is plenty of time to myself to think and listen to music. I did see a lot of Secret Service folks around the hospital today though. Tuesday, March 02, 2010. I know the writers...

Bennie's Reflections: October 2009
http://bennie-reflections.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday night I decided that the weather was too bad to drive to Arkansas to see mom. It was a good call considering how much rain and bad weather we had. There were 4-5 tornados in the Shreveport area which I would have had to drive through. Shreveport is about half way from where I’m working and where mom lives. So I met her and my aunt there in Shreveport and we drove around looking at the damage and then through some neighborhoods just to see the nice houses in the area. Saturday, October 31, 2009.

Bennie's Reflections: Sights from Savannah
http://bennie-reflections.blogspot.com/2010/01/sights-from-savannah.html
Too lazy to write. But I'm back in Savannah and here are a few pictures I took today on my walk around town. The picture above is one of the many squares in town. The fountain was pretty with the moss and live oaks all around it. The picture above was the moss in the trees in one of the squares with the sun going down behind it. This statue is of John wesley the founder of Methodism. I saw this boat coming in on the Savannah River. I loved the colors. Monday, January 11, 2010. January 12, 2010 at 6:00 AM.

Bennie's Reflections: What a nice start…
http://bennie-reflections.blogspot.com/2010/05/what-nice-start.html
What a nice start…. Well it’s been a while since I have written anything on the blog. I doubt anyone is reading it anymore – I know I wouldn’t after this long a hiatus. This has been a busy week for me. I started off driving to Savannah on Sunday and working there for two days then drove home Tuesday night. Today I am traveling to the west coast on the scenic route. I am on my flight right now from Myrtle Beach to LaGuardia airport – the first of three flights today. Hope everyone is doing well…. I certa...

Bennie's Reflections: Receivin
http://bennie-reflections.blogspot.com/2010/02/receivin.html
Sometimes you just see things that crack you up on the road. I know this sign was not designed this way but it was too funny. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Labels: Signs from the Road. Looks like a redneck sign. Tee hee! We saw a drive-in sign in the California desert once that said, Tacos, Hamburgers, Hair, and Nails. February 28, 2010 at 8:02 PM. Wonder what happened to the G? Doesnt look like it was ever there, I dont see a shadow from where it was stuck. March 2, 2010 at 8:27 AM. Need I Say More? I am a...
