She has just been offered a full time teaching position so I'm hoping to have this ready before school starts - yikes! I'll post updates as long as I'm not going embarrassingly. Will people at the LYS look at me like I've grown a second head when I go in tomorrow and ask? And if they don't sell singles, which I'm expecting to hear, what do I do with all of these needles? A place to share my patterns and anything else that comes to mind. Thursday, July 30, 2009. Cast on 26 stitches. Row 1 - 4. K4, [k2tog] 3 times, [yo k1] 6 times, [k2tog] 3 times, K4 (26 stitches). K4, P18, K4. Repeat rows 5 through 8 until desired length is reached ending with row 5. Complete with one set of rows 1-4. Bind off knitwise. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I bought them about three years ago as seven undyed silk scarves and dyed them in rainbow colours with food colouring and vinegar. Since then they have been a firm favourite in this house.
