Sunday, September 18, 2016. Apples, treats, and baby bumps. I love fall, and it is by far my favorite season. For us around here fall is means cool weather, long sleeves, boots, lattes (pumpkin spice of course), apple orchards! For us however, this year also brings the excitement, that is coming in winter, of three new babies in the family! Friday, September 16, 2016. Friday, September 2, 2016. Have a great weekend! knit.sip.click.repeat: Blueberries

http://knitsipclickrepeat.blogspot.com/2016/07/blueberries.html

Thursday, July 28, 2016. This past weekend Oliver and I head home up to the farm. We enjoyed a fun, busy filled weekend with family. The kids played games, chased and giggled for hours on end while the grown ups talked, worked in the kitchen (we are always in the kitchen) and worked on our own projects. Actually, as I type this days after the event, I am enjoying a blueberry muffin, and look forward to digging them out of the freezer for pancakes, smoothies, muffins or even pie. http://knitsipclickrepeat.blogspot.com/2016_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 15, 2016. I know, more yarn pictures right! But I just could resist snapping a few as my yarn is now rolled up in balls ( leaning tower of yarn. Winding them up captures the colors and shades in a whole new way, and they are so fun to look at I shot these photos this morning while I had the chance before I went to pick up my nephew, whom for the next two nights I have the pleasure of watching as his mom and dad are away on a cruise. What is the 2016 sweater challenge? Monday, March 14, 2016.

Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Pictures. Pictures. Pictures. I know, but this past weekend the camera was out a lot and capturing as many moments it possibly could. O turned two. TWO! Where in the world has the time gone? For the decorations I created a home made banner out of construction paper and markers (we are fancy that way) and stuck with my Cars theme by making the banner into race flags. It was a very fun and creative outlet and is still hanging in my kitchen. Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Teach me to ho...

Saturday, February 13, 2016. Hello weekend - We have missed you! These past couple weeks have been a little bit of a whirlwind around here and I am grateful to be snuggled on the couch with a cozy blanket, hot coffee and a good book. Right now I am reading "Dark Witch" by Nora Roberts. I love a good romance with a bit of magic to get me through the week. With the fresh snow we have been spending time outside playing in it. Oliver was brave enough to attempt trudging through the snow with his four whe...

teach me to hope: new year revival

http://teachmetohope.blogspot.com/2017/01/new-year-revival.html

Try as you may to pose them and sit them just right, it's always the candid shots that are the most appealing. We have been knitting, baking and living away here. I've just not been posting a lot because first I lost the do-dad that transfers photos to my computer and then I lost the photo card to my my camera. Then I just got lazy, or was it tired chasing after a one year old? Happy belated New Year to everyone! January 9, 2017 at 11:08 AM. What a handsome little guy! January 11, 2017 at 7:56 PM.

teach me to hope: nap time

http://teachmetohope.blogspot.com/2016/08/nap-time.html

During his nap time I hurry to pick up whatever project is utmost on my mind. This morning it was my bloomsbury sweater and I finished a sleeve. Then after he woke up I took him upstairs and he played in his suitcase while I sewed together the four large blocks that make up my single girl quilt top. Let's go with that :) :). It's nap time again, that's why I'm blogging. When he wakes up my arms and heart will be full with one energetic nine month old. Hope you have a great weekend. What a sweet face!

teach me to hope: July 2016

http://teachmetohope.blogspot.com/2016_07_01_archive.html

The gentle art of baby corralling. So many projects, so little time. My little one is perfecting his crawling technique. He's gone from that comical back foot in the air downward thrust to gain forward momentum to a very practical army crawl that gets him just about everywhere he wants to go. As I write this he's scooting towards the very hairy dog bed.). Time to sign off folks. More to come! The little guy and I spent Saturday night up at my parent's farm. We squeezed a lot into a twenty four hour p...

teach me to hope: bloomsbury sweater

http://teachmetohope.blogspot.com/2016/07/bloomsbury-sweater.html

It has been a very busy and full week. Last Sunday night Logan had a fever - probably because he's teething - but that meant that my husband and I had to keep him out of daycare for twenty-four hours past the time that the fever broke. We both ended up taking time off. My schedule got hit the hardest and to make up for it I had to go into the office today and work a full day. I'm home now - yay! Hopefully, we can each add one more hand-knit sweater to our wardrobes. Labels: 2016 sweater challenge.

http://teachmetohope.blogspot.com/2016/03/a-good-egg.html

I'm not sure, but I know when I'll get there, right? Here's my inspiration: buttentreelane, Iamagingermonkey and trudys person on flickr. Logan's wearing that cute hat. I knit for him this fall. So much fun! Lots of colorful scraps of wool. His eyes are going to be blue, I think. What a character! What A. Blessing. Ug, is it Monday tomorrow? So much left to do! Hope you are all on top of everything, I'll cheer you on if you're not - I'm right there with you! PS Joining Nicole at Frontier Dreams. So many ...

http://teachmetohope.blogspot.com/2016/08/evening-at-falls.html

Evening at the falls. You can follow my project progress here. I think this project turned out a lot like I had planned, but with some pleasant surprises along the way. Now I will be returning to my single girl quilt top. It's time to get to work on that again. August 5, 2016 at 11:22 AM. Its striking. I love the back, seeing the stitching pattern of the quilting. Little man is adorable! August 5, 2016 at 8:07 PM. August 14, 2016 at 8:02 AM. What a stunning quilt! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

teach me to hope: blueberry boy

http://teachmetohope.blogspot.com/2016/07/blueberry-boy.html

The little guy and I spent Saturday night up at my parent's farm. We squeezed a lot into a twenty four hour period. The best part was the blueberries. My dad took us to a neighbor's blueberry patch where we could pick as many blueberries as we wanted for free. I filled up two three gallon buckets. What do you think of Logan's crawling technique? My Bloomsbury sweater is knitting up fast. I hope I can keep up this pace. I've almost got the body complete and then I'll start on the sleeves. Found, now home.

I don't know. I had heard that Blip, which I use to host the videos, was deleting podcast accounts. I haven't tried to upload anything since that started. It has become a challenge for me to find time to podcast. So I might do a video again sometime, for now I'm taking a break. From that. She takes a Twist Coll...

Knit Sisters : Watch out. We’ve got sharp sticks.

Watch out. We’ve got sharp sticks. Day 24 The fall. February 18th, 2011. Day 24: Monday, February 14, 2011. This is the first day that I haven’t done any stitching. As you can imagine, this fall has really slowed me down this week. I’ve been to the doctor and gotten a CT scan (which was clear), but I’m still hurting pretty good and spending a lot of time in bed sleeping. But, on the bright side, Monday was the only day that I haven’t done any stitching at all. I’m working away on. Posted in cross stitch.
