Another blessed weekend around here. We really don't do much. We sleep in, drink coffee, sit out on the back porch and contemplate the garden. We try to come up with a game plan. We scrap the game plan and do what makes us feel happy. The moon rises the sun sets. We take a walk at twilight, pushing the baby in the stroller. The dog prances along beside us. The little guy and I spent Saturday night up at my parent's farm. We squeezed a lot into a twenty four hour period. The best part was the blueberries. My dad took us to a neighbor's blueberry patch where we could pick as many blueberries as we wanted for free. I filled up two three gallon buckets. What do you think of Logan's crawling technique? My Bloomsbury sweater is knitting up fast. I hope I can keep up this pace. I've almost got the body complete and then I'll start on the sleeves. Found, now home.

The gentle art of baby corralling. So many projects, so little time. My little one is perfecting his crawling technique. He's gone from that comical back foot in the air downward thrust to gain forward momentum to a very practical army crawl that gets him just about everywhere he wants to go. Life in the fast lane. Life is streaking by. It's already the end of June. We're making plans to go up North near the Canadian border to go camping with my husband's family. It has been a very busy and full week. Last Sunday night Logan had a fever - probably because he's teething - but that meant that my husband and I had to keep him out of daycare for twenty-four hours past the time that the fever broke. We both ended up taking time off. My schedule got hit the hardest and to make up for it I had to go into the office today and work a full day. I'm home now - yay! Hopefully, we can each add one more hand-knit sweater to our wardrobes. Labels: 2016 sweater challenge.

Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Survival. We go into survival quite often whether it's with work, and trying to get through the the afternoon, or in our case surviving the weekend with a sick little boy. And watching Thomas the Train on replay. Nothing better than that! With Oliver being sick it was a good time to try and teach myself a little more about my oils that I recently purchased. I diffused a blend of Lemon, Purification and Thieves which Oliver enjoyed. Wishing you all happy and healthy days ahead!

Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Pictures. Pictures. Pictures. I know, but this past weekend the camera was out a lot and capturing as many moments it possibly could. O turned two. TWO! Where in the world has the time gone? For the decorations I created a home made banner out of construction paper and markers (we are fancy that way) and stuck with my Cars theme by making the banner into race flags. Sunday, August 7, 2016. The little gray/green knitted blob is well on its way to what is to soon be a dinosaur for Oliver. The yarn selection is from the farm, the green yarn is some stuff that I dyed and spun, and the gray was spun at the mill. It's been fun to knit and I am excited to see the end results.
