https://knitterpixie.wordpress.com/2011/06/01/wip-wednesday-10
Just another WordPress.com site. I am still working on everything that I was last week, but have made some progress on the box. I don’t know why I have been so focused on this, except I have fit it in at weird times. I am packing my house to move (in the next couple of weeks! And have been having to miss my normal knit groups to sell stuff and get settled for both the move and the yard sale we have planned for this weekend. Again, for hosting! Just another WordPress.com site. It’s another edition of WIP Wednesday with your host, Tami. Today I present you a dishcloth. Yeah, so I took a few days off from the socks (coming along nicely) to make a quick project. I chose a cute cloth out of cute cotton! It’s out of the Mason Dixon patterns and so far, love! I am debating giving this as a gift when done. Probably not, as I do love my purple…. Fashion Show at Knitting…. Other blog →. 7 Responses to “Dishcloth blur”. May 18, 2011 at 10:56 pm. You are ...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. I Knew I Was Having a Slow Year…. August 11, 2015. I really had no idea how little I had accomplished from a crafting standpoint until, on a whim, I looked at my FOs for the year. Considering I have, for the past several years, completed in the neighbourhood of 25 knitted projects over the span of the year, I’d say calling this one slow is a massive understatement. I have, to date in 2015, completed exactly five. I took a sewing class, although, if I am...

On the bright side, I spent some quality time knitting yesterday morning, out in the beautiful sunshine, and the leg of my mom’s black Petty Harbour. Sock is growing a few 4-row repeats at a time. I promised them to her for autumn and I’ll never hear the end of it if they’re not ready! Crafting (or lack ther...

Note: This may only be funny if you have been to a large fiber festival, the kind where you are overwhelmed by the number of vendors and the amount of roving and yarn and all that goes with it. The kind where you are virtually surrounded by wool. Pointing to yarn) Excuse me, could you tell me where you bought that? Sure- it's from Brooks Farms. Woman: (confused) No- I mean where did you find it? Where is the wool? Just a few more.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. My mostly dormant blog got all kinds of unusual activity this week, which is strange, but when I checked it out, I immediately figured out why: that "Andrea Needs" meme has been going around the web once again. Funny. I was actually thinking about blogging lately, as a matter of fact, because in addition to knitting, I've been learning to sew! And so I've been sewing things like this:. Posted by Andrea at 7:09 AM. Wednesday, May 07, 2008. I didn't think so.). So, I've actually...

Knitting, Knitting, and more Knitting! And now Spinning, Spinning, and more Spinning! SPA Spin and Knit 2012. What a relaxing weekend, till I got home, but we’ll get to that later. Told me I needed it :o). Not the exact right weight of yarn, but I liked the feel of the swatch and I was getting gauge, so I’m hoping it will work out. Anyway, later on I went for walkabout town, visited the Beading Path, among other shops. Anyway, then I went to the market place and liberated this stuff from the mean old ven...

Just another WordPress.com site. So I recently mentioned a DIY dry shampoo I am using. This triggered a lot of questions, both online and irl. This being the case, I took some pix while doing my hair. Note: I have a quite oily scalp. If I do not use some kind of dry shampoo, I Will be washing my hair. So, here we are. I will include links in case you’d like to try it yourself. This is the end of my day, just before workout. Then I pulled it up, and went for a run, top show fully what this stuff can do.

Friday, March 20, 2015. Purple Rain Granny Square Blanket. After posting about Phi's rainbow granny square blanket a friend in Illinois asked if I could make her one but in purples. I was happy to do it. This time I used thick more wool yarn and a more holey square pattern. I used 3 different colors, 2 skeins. I used purple, dusty purple and eggplant. I was able to make 36 squares in all with 3 made up of all 3 colors combined. Here are the squares begging to be joined. Tuesday, February 3, 2015. I made ...
