Knitting Garden

Sunday, October 31, 2010. And locate a charger (very determined). I haven't been able to post photos of my new adventures - SPINNING! So far I've done a little spindling (thought I would be more coordinated - maybe it will all come together very soon). I've sat at several spinning wheels and checked out the treadle. On them. So far I have liked the Schacht. Lady Bug and Ashford. Joy, their treadle. Is comfortable for me. I was absolutely mesmerized. That cast a spell on you! Sunday, October 3, 2010.

Knitting Garden: Where did the time go?

http://knittingarden.blogspot.com/2009/11/where-did-time-go.html

Monday, November 30, 2009. Where did the time go? I had bought a really nice pair of black Mary Janes and was trying desperately to find a nice lacy sock, what I found was that most of the patterns are toe up and try as I may I COULD not get the provisional cast on. Does anyone know of a good You Tube for this? Have you tried Judys Magic Cast On? Its about the easiest toe-up Ive found. And also, Happy Birthday! December 1, 2009 at 9:55 AM. Knitting Garden: Yipee Photos at last!

http://knittingarden.blogspot.com/2010/01/yipee-photos-at-last.html

Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Yipee Photos at last! For all my snowbound friends I felt the need to post photos I took last weekend at the Huntington Library. We've had warm weather (in the upper 70's) and nice cool evenings, so the flowers are in abundance. The Iris above was so beautiful, its petals rendered me speechless (quite an accomplishment, do I hear the men out there thinking where can I get me some of those? The last hat is knitted from Baby Alpaca and is so soft and squishy, I'm sending it to M...

Knitting Garden: Redondo Beach Pier

http://knittingarden.blogspot.com/2010/01/redondo-beach-pier.html

Sunday, January 24, 2010. The sun was out and after being cooped up all week with the rain it was time for an outing. After breakfast at CJ's. Diego and I took a spontaneous detour to the pier and met this beautiful student from China, she was so full of life - her eyes danced with merriment (oh to be young again). I enjoyed talking with her and her two friends, they are here to study English and in two months time they spoke pretty well. They were delightful. Maybe walking the pier with a corn dog may n...

Through The Back Loop. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Because I needed something sweet. Could that be knitting? Miss Knit’s LBD. May 18, 2009 by missknit. I’ve been doing some sewing. I mentioned a while back that the Man had given me some sewing lessons as a gift (NOT an Easter gift, just coincidentally given around Easter time. He’s an odd one sometimes). I showed up at my first lesson with a project bag. I’ve even worn this out and about doing errands – a big step for some one w...And in ca...

Through The Back Loop. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; And now it’s August. September 9, 2009 by missknit. So, it’s been a while. A long while, but here I am. With knitting. I know, it’s hard to believe, but I do actually have some knitting to share ( along with more house updates! It’s consuming my entire life, so bear with me). Knit of course. Knit some lace. Not too shabby. Not too shabby at all. This is the Fountain Pen Shawl. This is my clumsy homage to Jane Sowerby and Victorian Lace Today.

It's me, Kody May from Kody May Knits! Read more about my "adventures" here. Tuesday, December 18, 2007. In Loving Memory of Zoe April Moore. Our beloved mini daschund Zoe passed away yesterday. We had to have her suffering ended by a vet. She was full of life right until the final couple of days. She had cancer and slipped a disk in her back. Still she tried to fight it. Yesterday she was in too much pain and could no longer take food or water. I'm sure she's in a better place now. Rest In Peace Zoe.

Yes, this is Rt. 66, I took this pic while driving back to work from lunch. The Mother Road is my favorite road because I can eat at places like the Metro Diner on this road. The Metro Diner has the BEST breakfast for not a whole lotta money! The sign there reads "Elvis eats here". I also like the Mother Road because in or not too far from Tulsa you can see things like these:.
