So I’ll name the place, and give you a few pointers about my experience. Bronach, feel free to add your stuff . . . These true things we have experienced! Your teacher eyes your knitting admirably. A direct quote from your teacher is “Knitting? They seem interested in what you are knitting. 5 Responses to “Can I knit here? Most of my teacher...

Book Reviews | Crazy Knitting Girls
https://crazyknittinggirls.wordpress.com/book-reviews
Can I knit here? We’re teen knitters. There are loads of knitting books for teenagers out there, so it should be easy to find good patterns for us, right? Unfortunately, most of these books are by adults who really have no idea what we like. Ick. This page was created to review any teen knitting books we come across. That way, you won’t accidently order a book that’s supposed to be cool but really’s just a bunch of ugly patterns written by someone’s old Aunt Gertrude. A egg cozy shaped like a hat. You ar...
*Eyetwitch* | Meltyknitting

February 12, 2007 at 11:38 pm ( Uncategorized. I’m good with mismatched, yet still vaguely coordinating pairs of socks. They are fun, and you don’t have to unwind, rewind, and unwind the yarn again and again to get what you want. But when the sock yarn that striped up into a perfectly nice palette of colors last sock suddenly turns into a hideous landscape of *twitch* goldenrod, I put my foot down. No pun intended. February 13, 2007 at 2:32 am. Hi Bjorn, Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting!

List of current WIPS. February 17, 2007 at 8:15 pm ( Uncategorized. Just because I have limited time for this post and need something quick…. One everlasting poncho for a little girl who said she wanted one “just like mine”. A cotton halter top that may very well have shrunk while sitting in the canvas bag it calls home. March 1, 2007 at 9:18 pm ( Uncategorized. BIG CHANGES CALL FOR BIG CAPSLOCK USAGE AND EXCESSIVE EXCLAMATION POINTS! Okay, now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, I will make my announcement. I predict that (although this is really cool for me) the biggest reaction I will get from anyone who reads this blog (there has to be someone, right? Is an exclamation something along the lines of “Meh.”. I am relocating meltyknitting to be part of Crazy Knitting Girls. So, go on over to Crazy Knitting Girls.
Assorted Amigurumi Patterns | Meltyknitting
https://meltyknitting.wordpress.com/free-patterns/assorted-amigurumi-patterns
Here are patterns for assorted amigurumi. Diddle, Deeding, Devil, Deliala, and Doodle. These little creatures are no more than little, bouncy heads. Like something you’d find a a horror movie, only less gorey and more mini-ified. They are fun to carry around (I keep one in my pocket at school) and use as little good luck charms. They could also serve as little sachets if you filled then with something perfume-y. They are very simple to make. Row 2: SC to end. Rows 4-8: SC to end. Where’d Pamina go? Fill ...

Crochet | Crazy Knitting Girls
https://crazyknittinggirls.wordpress.com/ventures-in-crocheting-lilys
Can I knit here? We’re teen knitters. This is mainly a knitting site, but a wee bit of crochet may sneak in now and then. So… Here we go! To start off, here is a lovely anecdote from Lily (who has generally been anti-crochet until she met amigurumi). So my dad does this play every year. In this year’s play, he had to give someone a piece of cheese. Don’t ask me why. The 1st time, he had to stick a cough drop up his sock, and it was just. Here are some good links. Knitting Fisher | SE knitting adventure
October 22, 2008. Final Post as a KnittingFisher. As much as I have loved being “KnittingFisher”, its just not who I am anymore. In honour of re-defining myself, I have started a new blog. It is called SisuGirl and is at sisugirl.wordpress.com. September 4, 2008. I know that it has been quite some time between my last post and now but there also has been a lot going on too. Both physically and in my head. Its Sisu and her Mum! Enjoy your Friday everyone. Have a pint for me to celebrate the weekend 🙂.

Friday, June 26, 2009. An Update from the Intern Desk. I have some free time here at WOGL so I will write you from the intern cubby. This internship is great. I'm dabbling in all the things that hopefully will get me a job in radio. I work in promotions and then I'm just starting to break in the production side of things. I got to do my first big market voice-over! The spot was for an overactive bladder research panel, but hell, I'll take what i can get! Do i know how the hell to use an iphone? Yes But t...

I am a knitting fool! I will knit any time, any where! I'm just lucky enough to be able to sell some of my stuff to support my knitting habit. Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Still Stuck At Home. When you're stuck at home (6 miles from town) without a car you better have something to do. I'm lucky because my Yarn Stash is fairly full so I can knit. Links to Stuff and Other Stuff. I updated the favicon. Well, I made a favicon. :-). Work Work. Work. And, alone again, naturally. At least at work again. We had the two toddlers I already informed you of, then we had the incredible disappearing employee (didn't even come back for a couple days worth of pay, what's up with that? And then a precious wilting violet. Alas, it leaves little time for the website and the crafting. I am trying to get something big in the works. Proudly powered by Weebly.

Knitting Footnotes
Thinking, reading, and writing about knitting. Monday, December 26, 2011. Merry Mukluks and Happy Warm Feet. When you knit the same pattern several times in a short period - say eleven pairs of mukluks between Thanksgiving and Christmas - the repetition leads to perfection or errors-of-distraction or both. Every year I vow to avoid the end of year knitting marathon and every year, it seems, I find myself doing it all over again. Last year it was. Knitting Pure and Simple MukLuk Slippers. On my tenth pair...
