Laundry day musings | Knittingkat's Blog
https://knittingkat.wordpress.com/2013/03/24/laundry-day-musings
Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Snow Frosted flash fiction. I wish I didn’t discover more mending projects every time I do more than one or two loads of laundry. With five people there are always new things to be fixed. I love when it is just a simple split seam or a button that I caught before it was lost. I’ve been planning out a few sewing projects for the near future. Hopefully I can finish them and be happy enough with them to post a few pictures. I hope everyone has had an awesome week!

Just another WordPress.com weblog. I wanted a really thick warm hat to wear during winter so I made this one. I love these, and they are super simple to knit since they are just a tube with a thumb hole. This is my oldest’s hat. He has been wearing it for about a year and it was one of the camouflage yarns. It is getting stretched out because he likes to tug it down over his ears. I don’t usually take pictures of stuff that I make so I don’t have many things to take pictures of. From your own site.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for January, 2012. January 3, 2012. I pull my car down the alley into the backyard parking lot of the tiny little store. It used to be someones home; a little old Victorian house. It seems fitting that it houses things from the past. Dusty, musty old pages filled with words from the past. 8220;Hey Bill, How was your weekend? 8220;Wendy, today we are going to try to see if we can get through more of the boxes in the backroom.” states Bill. It was written to a guy...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; The Bookstore. Snow Frosted flash fiction. Musings from NaNoWriMo 2012. I decided late at night on Halloween to try again this year. It was my fourth year participating, but my very first win. I almost didn’t even try. A friend convinced me to go for it again and for that I am thankful! It really was an awesome experience this year. I tried to be active on the NaNo Facebook page and I found a lot of people there willing to offer support and late night sprints...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. September 25, 2015. Every one posting Christmas countdowns to Facebook is striking fear into me. My Christmas knitting is so far behind! Each one of my boys wants their own new pair of wool socks for Christmas. I hope I can finish the sock (my first for me) on those needles, and then move on to three pairs for my kids. My oldest now has feet close in size to mine so that is a big job! I will do my best though! March 24, 2013. I hope everyone has had an awesome week!
