Then she explained that the knit and purl stitch are the two sides of the same stitch. The pictures below show two sides of the same swatch. Just another WordPress.com weblog. September 25, 2015. Every one posting Christmas countdowns to Facebook is striking fear into me. My Christmas knitting is so far behind! Each one of my boys wants their own new pair of wool socks for Christmas. I hope I can finish the sock (my first for me) on those needles, and then move on to three pairs for my kids. My oldest now has feet close in size to mine so that is a big job! I will do my best though! March 24, 2013. I hope everyone has had an awesome week!
