There is knitting. And okapis. What more could you ask for? Still twitching UFO day 1 →. July 29, 2011. Granted, there are about 3 posts that should be made before this (including KnitNation. ouch! But I just *have* to show this off because I just love it so much! If you ever need or more likely want a great project back for your knitting stuff or whatever it is one needs to put away (I’m sure you can find some excuse :P) I can only recommendate the ones from Madbird. The pattern is a little tiring to re...

There is knitting. And okapis. What more could you ask for? December 7, 2011. That’s far longer between posts than I had intended, and lots of UFOs have passed on to be FOs since then. NaNoWriMo was kind of a distraction, though, and then Gmail decided to block my mail account out of the … Continue reading →. UFO day 2 – WIPW. October 5, 2011. Still twitching UFO day 1. WIP Wednesday! | Knitting Okapi
https://knittingokapi.wordpress.com/2011/12/07/69
There is knitting. And okapis. What more could you ask for? UFO day 2 – WIPW. December 7, 2011. On the WIP pile a pair of Ysolda’s opera gloves. And fortunately it is nearly done, because this colour is hurting my eyes. Good thing they’re not for me to wear! The rectangle is a swatch I made for a pair of legwarmers for my aunt, using the pattern of Baroque socks. They should turn out quite nice. To see more awsome WIPS, go have a look at them at Tami’s Ami’s blog. German behind the cut). Das kleine grün/...

There is knitting. And okapis. What more could you ask for? UFO day 2 – WIPW →. Still twitching UFO day 1. October 1, 2011. So much for plans to post regularly. I have an excuse, though. What does a pile of 648 chinese Kanji, plus more for Japanese and vocabs/grammar/linguistic stuff for both tell us? Right, exam time! Nearly done now, which means more time for thinking about blogs and my dishes have a chance of getting washed again. Left: Half a skew sock. Right: One double Heelix. Buried somewhere in t...

There is knitting. And okapis. What more could you ask for? Still twitching UFO day 1. UFO day 2 – WIPW. October 5, 2011. Since the last post, conveniently enough, I discovered Tami’s Work-in-Progress Wednesday. And I think I’ll shamelessly adopt it for UFO day. -. With exams finally done I granted myself a whole evening of tea, chocolate, TV and knitting to work on the Skew socks. Resulting in another half a sock. (Do two half socks count as one sock already? German and French behind the cut). Fehlen nu...

Knitting Off The Grid
Knitting Off The Grid. Living Off the Electrical Grid While Creating a Small Knitting Business. Thursday, August 29, 2013. As much fun as having a blog has been, it's time to really focus on my small business. Fall is just around the corner which will mean a lot of socks will have to be made. And I'd like to spend more time designing, too. There's just not enough hours in each day. I will continue with my Etsy and Ravelry stores, so you can always stop by to see what's new there. Knitting On Call
Intermittent updates on an over-flowing life. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Prior to these two episodes, I'd taken one sick day in 5 years. Not counting pregnancy related issues, which I'm considering a whole different ball of wax. Though maybe less stress and more down time would have warded off preeclampsia as well. Last Saturday was my first day off in 3 weeks. I guess I'm having a bit of personal crisis here. Is this really how I want my life to be? Links to this post. Sunday, January 02, 2011. 5 Kee...

Thursday, January 29, 2015. Sunday, October 13, 2013. Sweater Knitting and Baking with Kahlua. It feels like forever since I've. Finished a sweater and it feels Good! The Longboard Pullover is a very wearable and comfy sweater that will follow me into Fall when worn with a long sleeve tissue tee. The texture of the Rowan Panama fiber (55% viscose, 33% cotton and 12% linen) is most desirable and adds a lot of attitude.Oh Yeah! Up next is yet another sweater, Coco! I have an infatuation with all things Fal...
