The Knitting Triangle: June 2010
http://knittingtriangle.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 7, 2010. After years of exploring different knitting projects: baby blankets, hats, scarves, even sweaters, I've come to the conclusion that the only thing I truly love knitting is socks. But each time I undertake this venture, I find myself regretting it once I get to the heel of the second pair, and I exclaim "DON'T EVER LET ME KNIT A PAIR OF SOCKS AGAIN". Knitting socks, for those of you who have never tried it, follows a typical pattern, and the pattern is this:. You'll need two balls of...
The Knitting Triangle: felt board for babies

Friday, March 25, 2011. Felt board for babies. Like Joel from Made by Joe. For now, I found Made by Joel's Felt Board for Babies. And knew I had to make one right away. I still have lots of felt scraps from the Alphabet Quilt I made in December and I happened to get a box with a book in it this week that folded into a perfect triangle shape for the felt board project. Super easy- I glued felt to the cardboard and let it dry overnight. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Felt board for babies.
The Knitting Triangle: Placemats for Play
http://knittingtriangle.blogspot.com/2011/03/placemats-for-play.html
Friday, March 4, 2011. The knitting triangle often uses Google Reader as a way to share craft ideas, recipes and fashion tips. A while back Kristen shared a link from. With a note that her kids would love to have these placemats (made by me of course). So I promptly got to work. Turn the placemats right sides out and edgestitch around to close the opening. They ended up being the cutest things. Here they are in use at E and O's fabulous play kitchen. March 5, 2011 at 3:22 PM. I need some heatnbond!
The Knitting Triangle: February 2011
http://knittingtriangle.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 16, 2011. A basketful of valentines arrived home yesterday. There were the usual suspects: Buzz and Woody, Dora, Lightning McQueen, Disney Princesses. The usual trinkets: pencils, playdoh, and lots and lots of tooth decaying lollipops. And some standouts: NASCAR, a card printed from tinyprints.com with a picture of the child. But amongst 17 Valentines, there stood only one lonely handmade one. And now, my quest for a new friendship begins. :). Links to this post. Links to this post.
The Knitting Triangle: July 2010
http://knittingtriangle.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Playmates for a Playdate. While trolling my usual blogs I stumbled upon a great rag doll pattern from Patty Young's new line of fabric, Playdate. Three of these adorable rag dolls come on a panel of fabric, and were quickly delivered right to my doorstep. I remember this style of fabric paneling from my youth, when my admittedly uncreative mom would cut Halloween costumes from panels purchased at Joanns. Now I just think they need some cute clothes, don't you think? The quilt is D...

Mars 21, 2016. Mars 6, 2016. April 7, 2016. Legg igjen en kommentar. Inne i denne bok...

The Knitting Triangle
Tuesday, March 29, 2011. I think these flowers are a great way to celebrate the beginning of spring. You can use them to decorate or glue a pinback on the back to create a bright accessory. Pick out your most colorful fun scraps and get sewing! 1) Cut five 5" squares and one 3” in diameter circle (or two if you want to make your flower double sided). Press. 2) Overlap the five triangles and run a strong thread along the bottom raw edges. Form a ring and end thread. Links to this post. This project makes ...

Sunday, July 13, 2014. Reviving the Blog - Megan's Medical Fund Fundraiser. It's been a long time since I've posted an update. Life gets busy and so many things have changed in my life in the past two year. But it's time to bring it back. In the past, this community of friends and family have come together to raise money for an amazing cause. I'm hoping we can do that again. This time my request is very personal. And she knits on...
And she knits on. My rambles on knitting and, maybe, life. Thursday, October 8, 2015. I've decided to get back on the blogging wagon. In the years since I last posted here I have:. Acquired a house, a cat and a car. Traveled to Greece and ComicCon twice each. And surely a bunch of other noteworthy events that only the bowels of faceyspacey would even reveal. I would like this to be a place again where I may ramble and write and post about the things I think are interesting that are happening around me.
