Knitting with Dawn

http://knittingwithdawn.blogspot.com/2008/10/oct-3-2008-casual-elegant-knits-as-we.html

Vogue Spring Summer 2008. Saturday, October 4, 2008. Oct 3, 2008. Casual, Elegant Knits. As we were working on this book, we were carefully reviewing each pattern many times. We were hoping to make sure that all the information written in the pattern is correct and nothing is missing. However, in a real world of publishing, it is almost a rule that something will get into print that was not corrected. We apologize for any inconvenience these misprints may have caused you. Corrections on p. 27. I also lov...

Knitting with Dawn: May 2008

http://knittingwithdawn.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Vogue Spring Summer 2008. Tuesday, May 6, 2008. I know it is hard to think of Christmas gift giving, but small projects are great take alongs when, travelling, attending baseball games or any outdoor events. I have a basket designated for finished projects. I put the finished project in a Ziploc bag and write the intendeds. Name on the bag. It is amazing how many projects will be in the basket when the gift giving (and making) season has arrived. When the holidays are close I can shop at home. I LOVE, LO...

Knitting with Dawn: Blog Information

http://knittingwithdawn.blogspot.com/2008/08/blog-information.html

Vogue Spring Summer 2008. Sunday, August 24, 2008. I have been wondering for quite a while about what knitting people want to see in a blog and what it is that keeps them coming back. So rather than wonder, I thought I would ask reader's for their input. I will suggest a couple of questions just to help you get started:. 1: Do you like to know about new projects? 2: Day to day life, more on a personal level? 3 Do you want to know what new kniting books the blog hostess is reading? Knitting XXX and OOO.

Knit Theory: Munching (and knitting) at Marcia's

http://chicoknittheory.blogspot.com/2008/07/munching-and-knitting-at-marcias.html

Knit on with confidence and hope, through all crises." - Elizabeth Zimmerman. Friday, July 18, 2008. Munching (and knitting) at Marcia's. Summer in northern California has been difficult for many because of the early summer fires, but even for those of us who don't live in the the affected areas, air quality has been terrible. So, today was a wonderfully welcome change. The sun is shining, it's not too hot, and the air is cleaner. Lunch on the patio and visiting with friends was lovely! This is Robin's f...

Knit on with confidence and hope, through all crises." - Elizabeth Zimmerman. Sunday, May 18, 2008. We've done a bit of secret knitting in the last 2 years. One of the projects was a wedding afghan for Debbie. I don't know how we pulled that one off, but somehow we did. Here we are with the finished product. Sweetpea loves her new blankie. The most difficult part of this project was not being able to include Debbie when we put it all together at Margaret's. Monday, May 12, 2008. Cinco de Mayo Tricoteria.

Knit on with confidence and hope, through all crises." - Elizabeth Zimmerman. Thursday, January 22, 2009. New Project for a New Year. It's only fitting that we begin the Fifth Year of Knit Theory with a project for a new baby. Here's Katy, our grandmother-to-be, getting us started. We had a very special guest who showed us how to knit on the Knifty Knitter Loom. This is Aubrey and a hat she made for her new baby cousin. Pretty awesome for a first grader! Obviously she takes after her crafty mom, Julie.

Tuesday, 7 August 2012. I like both, I like how fixed needles can't come undone and I like how you can easily change interchangeables into a stitch holder but still get to use the needles.
