It’s almost finished. I have really enjoyed this project. What a journey of life it has taken me through! The coat is done. And boy, was it fun. Now I am on the...

To knit or not to knit
To knit or not to knit. Wednesday, July 12, 2006. Ok, ok, purses are a weakness for me. But in my defense, they are easy, quick and they always fit. Here's the front pieces. I am now knitting the back and then there is the finishing. Argh, not my favorite thing. But hopefully it will be quick and easy to finish, or you will hear the whining. Posted by Sandy @ 10:26 PM. Monday, May 22, 2006. It's not a rug. Posted by Sandy @ 7:14 AM. Monday, May 15, 2006. Spring Fling bag 3. Posted by Sandy @ 7:04 AM.

Knittini - A knitty therapy of sorts. An avid knitter, an eccentric woman, a rambler. I spend most of my time with my knitting, my boyfriend, my best friends or my dog. May 11, 2008. I finally finished the baby romper for Jessamyn's. Peanut, and I gave it to her at her baby shower. It came out sooo cute. I was stumped. Then I found Argosy. I picked up some JoJoLand superwash fingering weight. Yarn and got right to it. Very fun and quick knit, perfect pattern repeat for someone of my attention level.

Knittin' in Particular
For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13. This is my third pair of grown-up socks :) The yarn is Knitpicks Felici and the colorway is called "Time Traveler".so I reversed the stripe order on the second one, with the idea that one was going into the future and the other into the past. This one is Mom's. This one is Maggie's. And here is Sarah's! You can see we all picked totally different color combos and it's been fun seeing how they all are turning out!

knittin' it is | kindness, beauty and truth
Knittin’ it is. Kindness, beauty and truth. Today, Tiesan Café @ Curved Street, in Filmbase, opened for the first time on a weekend. As soon as I found out that they would open, I started spreading the word to the knitters out there, because Tiesan had been promising that since March. All went well, even though there was a book/vinyl fair going on and our space was a bit limited, but all in all we were eight knitters and stitchers altogether, it was lovely and fun and great! This is what is happening:.
