Although we haven’t gotten the baby’s room quite as ready as I’d like at this point, I did make some cute artwork! I bought a set of fat quarters in MOMO It’s a Hoot fabric on etsy and put them in a set of frames we had sitting around unused. Cute, huh? I’ve barely had time to shower or eat lunch. But I did finish a hat right before Miss G was born, and I finally took a picture of her wearing it. It matches her outfit pretty well! This turned out quite a bit larger than I thought it would (though if I had checked the finished dimensions I would have known the size)! Monday, February 05, 2007. I was also on vacation this past week. I had to roll over a weeks worth of time from last year because I couldn't take it in December like I had planned. Since we were moving to the new branch I thought that it would not be fair to leave the branch. So I took it the week of my birthday. I watched movies and TV while I was off. I was happy to sit on the couch and just veg out. As I was doing the payroll today, I noticed that I have a total of 160 hours of vacation this year!

Admittedly, it's an acquired taste. Tuesday, November 15, 2011. It's Dark in Here. I remember when I started this blog. I was feeling alone, isolated and frustrated. I believe the first few posts were mainly rants about yarn snobs or people that made me feel excluded. Eventually my posts evolved; there were more pictures, stories.
