Sunday, July 31, 2005. Ribbon Sweater Takes Shape! The gals at the shop said they swear by Button Emporium. Which I've never been to, so there's something else to look forward to! As ready as I am for this to be done I really am enjoying the process. Posted by msubulldog @ 6:15 PM. Saturday, July 30, 2005. I ran across a woman named Teri who posted this question on her blog. And I had to answer. Where's the most extreme place you've knitted? In our airplane, of course! Posted by msubulldog @ 8:51 AM.

Knittin' Mom: December 2005
http://knittinmom.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 30, 2005. Over the Rockies and through Minneapolis. To grandmother's house we go. The pilot knows the way to steer the plane through rain and possibly sno-ow! I do have a few things to blog about before we leave the civilized world. First, I'm finally getting around to posting pictures of my wonderful Secret Santa gift. Sydney loves her bear so much, she's been sleeping with it. And she never sleeps with stuffed animals! Before they sold out. I was stupid and didn't check the yardage, so...

For last minute gift-giving, there's still time to knit a pair of these. I knit two pair this weekend. US7 and US9 dpns.

Never in a million years. Friday, June 16, 2006. What's the first step again? I love that this 15-pound cat chased a bear up a tree. That's awesome. Posted by Skiptastic @ 2:20 PM. Never in a million years. Monday, January 30, 2006. This picture from the Hubble telescope (Orion nebula? Provides an explanation of why I like my watercolor quilt so much. I see a resemblance, anyway. This is the kind of picture I would have blown up to wall size and put up like wallpaper all over in my house. It's breathtaking. I know it's false color, but whoever at NASA is putting this false color stuff together is doing a great job. Posted by Skiptastic @ 8:02 AM. Sunday, January 29, 2006. Nearly ke...

Never in a million years. Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Whoa, suddenly so much! Well I've just returned from the spring quilt camp, and boy did that ever go better than last time. I finished two quilts in two months and made a big dent in another this weekend. I also learned how to make folded oragami fabric flowers and how to use paintsticks to create custom fabric! Yes, I know the name is paintstiks but god I hate that.). I hope to have pictures soon to show! Posted by Skiptastic @ 2:00 PM. No one, which is...

Never in a million years: October 2005

Never in a million years. Wednesday, October 26, 2005. I found a dead mouse in my slipper last night. I put my foot in my slipper and. boom. Dead mouse in there. Why now? I've already been creeped out by my naked tree in the back yard, being awoken in the night by what I was sure was a door shutting in my house, and all the scary previews for Halloween movies I'll never see; and now a dead thing in my kitchen? Posted by Skiptastic @ 11:41 AM. Saturday, October 22, 2005. Well, not so much with the apples.

Never in a million years. Friday, February 17, 2006. I'm hoping to visit my Auntie over the weekend and maybe con her into helping me tie the pink quilt. She suggested quilting it as she has a bit of a quilting set-up, but I don't know if I want to spend that kind of time. I'd rather just get it done. It was an impromptu thing, not really planned and I'd like to be done with it. Posted by Skiptastic @ 2:43 PM. Thursday, February 16, 2006. Like, so cool man. That's a shark embryo! They're cancelling winte...

Never in a million years: April 2006
http://neverinamillionyears.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Never in a million years. Thursday, April 27, 2006. It's a good thing I listened to friends and family, we've had a bit of a cool snap lately and anything I would have planted would surely be dead now. Only a couple of weekends to go before I can get out there and get planting, so I just need to keep myself busy until then. On the advice of BK I bought the Big Girl Knits book, which arrived yesterday. It's a great book, with beautiful patterns. I want to learn to read those pesky patterns now! My tulips ...
