Knit with chopstix: Making progress...
http://knitwithchopstix.blogspot.com/2011/03/making-progress.html
Use the tools you have. Friday, March 04, 2011. It's hard to keep up with a knitting blog when there's not much knitting going on, but it's equally hard when I'm knitting a lot! All my free time is filled with needles and string these days. I've been making (and designing! My own baby and kid hats to sell through Sangha Root, a part of the Original Root Zen Center. To which my family belongs. I've been knitting the sleeves for my Owls. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow me on Twitter.
Knit with chopstix: Things I love: Science and knitting
http://knitwithchopstix.blogspot.com/2010/01/things-i-love-science-and-knitting.html
Use the tools you have. Tuesday, January 05, 2010. Things I love: Science and knitting. I admit it. I'm a geek. And not just a yarn geek. I love science, and science fiction. So when I saw this gallery of the combination of yarn and science, I had to share. The Bizarre and Brilliant World of Knitted Science. There are frog dissection kits, a periodic table sweater, hyperbolic space. The list goes on and on. Come on, raise your geek flag. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow me on Twitter.
Knit with chopstix: Ah, knitting.

Use the tools you have. Thursday, December 03, 2009. I thought I was going to have some things to show off here by now. Like a finished apple hat. Maybe a finished hooded scarf. It's all in-progress still. And, because the new hat is all on double-points, I'm afraid to bring it anywhere because I don't have a decent project bag. I think that's what I'm going to ask for from my sister! A new project bag for small projects. Oh, Etsy, here I come! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow me on Twitter.
Knit with chopstix: August 2009
http://knitwithchopstix.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Use the tools you have. Friday, August 28, 2009. I'm getting together with a knitterly buddy on Saturday, and we're making a stop at Just 4 Ewe in Oak Creek. I popped in there one day and left with a tiny circular needle perfect for making socks! Now I've just got to make the socks. I should really search ravelry for a sock knit-a-long or something. Also, I'm intrigued by Kory Stamper's double-knitting sock technique. That might be the key to getting me to knit socks. Friday, August 21, 2009.

Knit with a silent K | never too old to learn new tricks
Knit with a silent K. Never too old to learn new tricks. A mistake by any other name. September 12, 2016. I’ve made a lot of mistakes when I’m sewing. I notice that I never want to write or talk about the things that went wrong. I know that making the mistakes means I learned something new about what doesn’t work but it feels like a failure. For example, I’m working on another Sorbetto top. This one is in a lighter fabric. The mistakes I have made (gulp). 8221; (i.e. mistake). 8221; (i.e. mistake). 1 pai...

Publicerad 2015-06-04 18:06:00 i Politiskt.
