Just my everyday thoughts of life with 2 kids and a husband. Thursday, August 18, 2011. Vacation Day 2- Adventureland. We spent the second day of our vacation in Des Moines, Iowa at Adventureland. This was a really nice amusement/water park. Everything was really clean and we did not have to wait too long in line. The kids favorite ride was the Frog. We had a crazy driver who made this lots of fun. I wish I had more pictures to post of this event. On our last day in Wisconsin, we enjoyed the water park and went to the movies to see the Smurfs. Sunday, January 31, 2010. The Temptations of Weekends. I can do so well and keep clear of all sweets all week, but when it comes to the weekends, there are so many temptations! First was yesterday. I took my daughter to a birthday party and just had to have a piece of that yummy homemade carrot cake! Then today my husband made his wonderful breakfast foods! Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs with cheese, and sausage and bacon! I ate one when they were fresh out of the oven. Saturday, January 30, 2010.

Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Still On My Way! I'm still slowly on my way.I'm only averaging losing a pound a week, but that is better than gaining! At least I know I'm doing it! I think it will be easier to keep off as well going slowly and is better for me. I had all those issues last time I lost all that weight so quick with my menstral cycle, so I don't want that this time. Nothing else to report. Just wanted to make note that I'm still at it even though I haven't written here in a while.

Never a dull moment. Friday, August 14, 2009. You're makin' me nervous! On Sunday we had dinner over at my mom's house. Ava loves spending time at Nunny's because she gets to eat and play with her jewelry. We were laughing so hard, I thought I was going to pee my pants. My mom says that all the time, and I actually didn't realize how often that saying comes out of my mouth as well, but she picks up everything. Never a dull moment. Thursday, May 27, 2010. It was reaching into the front window and pecking at Rolando. Ava had enough,was crying and jumped into the back seats. "Close the window. Lets go faster daddy! Adam was really excited about seeing the animals and being out of his car seat. Adam leaned as far back as possible when the zebra came in. Then he was done.
