Koinonia Homeschool Co-op of Manhattan Kansas. Koinonia Co-op was born out of a need in the local Manhattan area for a co-op that offered academically rigorous classes along with fun elective classes and was open to families with a wide age-range of children. Koinonia is a Christian run organization and includes biblical teaching in it operations. This aim is reflected in the co-op's name. Koinonia (pronounced: koy - na - nee - ah) comes from the Greek word. Meaning common and is often translated as fellowship. It denotes gathering for a common purpose and a spirit of generous sharing. Applications for enrollment are accepted all year long.

Dreaming of fellowship, communion, communication, and sharing through every day living. Monday, May 27, 2013. I look back and see all the times I used the word ‘I’ or ‘me’. Yup, it’s all about me! It’s almost comical how when I get overwhelmed, the first thing I remove from my ‘list’ (oh, you better believe I’m a list maker) is my own wants and desires. I think that I’m helping others by completing all the necessary tasks. But at what price? What do you want from me? What do they miss most about from me?
